Our stay was great, and Emmanuel was extremely helpful. However, there was a major issue with the reservation. I paid for two nights, but the hotel only received confirmation for one night from Expedia. As a result, they were preparing to check us out a day early. Instead of focusing on my cousin’s funeral that morning, I had to worry about whether I would even be able to stay for the second night I already paid for. I don’t understand how this mix-up happened, and because of this experience, I will no longer be booking through Expedia.

Where do I start. Person checking us in was nice but kind of clueless. Our first room was filthy and we found a ton of broken shards of glass (we hope it was glass it also resembled crystal meth) in the couch bed. The whole hotel smelled like they were trying to cover up another smell. When we were horrified at the first room, the guy basically didn’t care how we felt, he just said, “I’m glad you told me and I’ll have to talk to housekeeping.” Then he put us in the very next room. In that room we found three bugs, hair, and other gross stuff. Felt so unclean. We arrived after a very long road trip so we’re exhausted and then the kids could not sleep because of how gross it all was. The one elevator sounded like it was going to break at any moment and had something gross on the walls. Just felt entirely dirty.
