Paid for room on Orbitz and had to paid again when checking in. Front desk said they did not take online reservations- not helpful at all! Will not ever book there again- very disappointing!
Stayed on 4th floor, with baby, elevator out of order much of stay, lobby bathroom out of order, beds are tiny..Not fit for more than one comfortably, housekeeping came in on me even though they could not give me fresh linens, take my garbage, or vacuum..Meds went missing another day, a long black hair hung from the microwave when I returned. Stripped my bed and took down to be told they had no linens, had to wait all day, they took my "linen charge" upon arrival. Went for change for laundry, but they had none, the maintenance man was very helpful in that he got my wet load to dryer with only half the 6 quarters needed. Orbitz reserved a double bed, but all beds are small fulls, flat and uncomfortable. No Services by housekeeping whatsoever, why are they coming in my room if they can't so much as exchange towels? Clean upon arrival. Access into site is very frustrating as you cannot turn left to leave or enter because turn lane is baracadded, adds about ten minutes to commute to go through two lights to turn around and return from opposite direction. Traffic roars when opening window in smoking room.
Overall my experience at this hotel was "OK." The check-in process was quick and easy and the clerk was pleasant. The room however was very sparse. The cabinets doors were missing in the kitchen area and the light on the stove didn't work. The toilet seat was visibly not clean. I had to use a moist wipe to clean it down before I used it. The mattress was firm, but comfortable. This is not my type of hotel and I will not stay in another in this chain if I can help it.
I checked in and went to my room. I needed a king or queen size bed and they did not have one. I left and stayed at the Hampton Inn. I desk clerk was very polite, very helpful, and issued a credit since I didn't stay. Go employees are hard to find and they had a good employee that evening.
