Convenient and dog friendly!

I stayed here with my dog and found the home well appointed, comfortable, and clean. Full laundry and a great fenced in yard to let my dog out worry free. There are dogs at the home behind the fence and some areas of the fence are in need of repair- they can see one another through it. But they couldn’t reach one another which was great. Easy access to freeways, downtown, forest acres, and more. The neighborhood is progressive, but overall was quiet and safe.

Okay but not again

The house is in a sketchy neighborhood but it was okay and nothing happen that made us feel unsafe. There is not enough wash clothes supplied so if you stay here you will need to bring your own. There is also only two TVs, one in the master bedroom and one in the living room so of everyone needs a tv I would not recommend here. You can tell this was an older house that was rehabbed and the bare minimum was updated. There were numerous light bulbs out. Would I stay here again, no. But if you need somewhere to stay that is at least decent, it would do.

House was Great

Check in was seemless, the house was clean and had everything we needed, the only complaint I really had was the neighbors dog trying to dig under the fence and poking its head through, and it would have been nice if the grass was a little shorter. But this is the start of spring and the rain we have had, the grass honestly could have been mowed 2 to 3 days prior, joys of the south

Bridal Party Stay

We had an awesome time at Ft. Jackson graduation

My 80 year old mother had to sleep downstairs on the sofa bed because the steps was too steep for her to go upstairs. No bedding found for sofa bed so we had to use one of the twin beds linen. No coffee and no soap in master bathroom (sink and shower bottles were there but empty).Not too crazy about neighborhood. Overall, a very nice place to stay and I would stay there again.

Great location

We really enjoyed the house. There was a total of 5 of us sleeping there, so the bed arrangement worked well. We did have our daughter and her friend there to visit, with permission, and seating for 7 in the living room was tight (brought chairs in from the kitchen). We came to SC for our daughter's basic training graduation, and the location was great for this. It was also close to other things to do. The neighborhood was quiet, though we were out of the house most of time. Be aware, a train does go by at times. The host was prompt in getting back to me with any questions, definitely a 5 star there. Lots of pros with the propery. On to a few things that needes improvement. The kitchen situation: there were 5 of us staying there and only 3 dinner plates. One of which we had to use as the microwave plate, as that was broken/not there. Multiple bowls, cups, and plates were chipped. No coffee was provided, per listing. More kitchen towels would have been nice, one wasnt enough..and wash rags and cleaning spray would be a plus. Lastly, the floors could have be cleaned along with the kitchen table, before we got there. Are these deal breakers? No, just inconveniences. I would recommend this house to family and friends or review readers, if they are in the area. A few little tweaks and this house is a 5 star all around.

Extended weekend

Attentiveness of the property manager was appreciated. The house could really use a deep clean. Kitchen and living area floors were sticky, carpet didn’t appear vacuumed, garbage disposal was broken. Ice machine made a loud screeching sound when turned on. Overall, it was nice to have our extended family together in a home for game day weekend at a reasonable price.

What can I say

The pre process was amazing and easy great communication. When we arrived the grass needed to be cut. The area was not the safest. There where people out all kinds of night with loud music and talking the police had to end up coming. The toilet was dirty as well as the baseboards. It’s suppose to sleep eight people but there was only three spoons and three forks. There was dust bunny’s everywhere. And there is only two tvs for a house that sleep eight people.

When we arrived in the neighborhood of the rental there were drug deals taking place in front of us. Neighbors were in the street yelling at each other. We decided not to stay and had to get a hotel for our stay in Columbia.

Close to Fort Jackson

This location was about 10/15 mins (given traffic) from Fort Jackson! It was very spacious and the Kitchen was well stocked with cooking items and utensil's! They even had a high chair and a baby bath tub! All 3 bedrooms were upstairs and a good size there plus there were 2 1/2 baths! The master bedrooms sheets were soft and it slept good! The house smelled like bleach and wasn't dirty dirty but it did lack some cleanliness! Lots of dusts and tiny hand prints on the walls! Would I stay here again… probably not.

Great place to stay near Downtown Columbia

Nice to have all the bedrooms and full baths upstairs, for those who wanted to go to bed early, as we were traveling with our 1 year old grand daughter. Nice big kitchen and dining room, and family room with plenty of seating, and a half bath on the main floor for those who stay up late. And a bonus fenced in back yard for our dog to play and get her energy out. We enjoyed our stay!

Great property, second stay here

This location is perfect for those wanting something clean, comfortable and modern. We have stayed here twice now, and would highly recommend it. The house is always spotless, the back yard is fenced and the neighborhood quiet. Plus, Florian and Andreas are very responsive to any enquiries.

Almost Perfect

This is a great property our only issue was with the MBR bed. The sheets were old and stretched. Every time you moved the sheets pulled off the corners and ended up in bed with you. Other than that daily annoyance the house is perfect. Great location, fenced in backyard, quiet safe neighborhood. We would stay here again.
