This property and the folks within it, are truly gems! Conveniently located, we were amazed to be in the heart of Colombo one second, and in a beautifully manicured garden with a perfectly designed pool surrounded by large trees and fauna. Our room was nestled tastefully in this oasis to provide us a serene and peaceful experience. Everything slowed down for us as soon as we arrived. The two owners, Christoff and Pascal, have obviously worked hard to build a personal and relaxing experience for their guests by creating this unique environment in their boutique hotel, and by filling it with staff that are very good at what they do. They all went above and beyond for us. We dined several times while staying and we found both the food and the wine selections to be extensive and perfectly prepared. Both owners and staff are obviously dialed in on the needs of the hospitality industry, as they provide their guests with both service and accommodation that exceed expectations. Folks, this is a 10/10 and we would highly recommend this wonderful establishment to all! We have already booked our next stay and are looking forward to it! Enjoy!

We fell in love with La maison de Colombo! It’s a haven of peace in a sometimes hectic city. The space is spectacular, the furniture, the pool, the rooms, the bedding - everything was done to high level of sophistication and comfort. And the French touch was beyond charming! The French posters mixing effortlessly with the Sri Lankan design was just perfect. The food was also incredible - do not miss the breakfast! - and the dinner felt like it was cooked by a French chef with excellent coq au vin and beef bourguignon. They have a really stylish wine bar as well with great champagne available. It’s the perfect retreat for travelers at the beginning or the end of a trip to Sri Lanka whether you want to ease your way into Sri Lankan lifestyle or transition back from the jungle and have some well earned comforts after travelling around this beautiful island. Christophe and Beatrice made us feel right at home and were very friendly with great stories to tell. We absolutely loved it and as a French national myself it felt like a home away from home.

We had a fantastic stay at La Maison de Colombo! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and taken care of by the wonderful staff. A special thank you to Manager Chamara, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. His hospitality truly made a difference! Mornings were always a delight, thanks to Ifaas and Vijedran, who took great care of us with a delicious breakfast and friendly service. They made sure we started our day on the right note! The property itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a peaceful ambiance that made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place with great service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a team that genuinely cares about your experience, La Maison de Colombo is the perfect choice.
