For the fact that the place is air conditioned and there is a bar and restaurant in the hotel it was worth it to pay a bit more money. Good wifi and plenty of room. You can pay cash up front or cardto "hold" till the end of your stay. Worth it!

Recommended by a big Hotel that was full i immediately liked Burns Art Hotel because of the modernistic look, the art, the rooms and the quality of the staff. Many younger guest and a very cool ambiance make this a winner.

Stayed on 29th july just for a one night stay. Was a lovely clean hotel had all the amenities you would expect. Staff were very friendly and could speak English which helped massively. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We stayed here a couple of nights and was very unhappy. I could hear lots of noise from other guests next door and downstairs. I had a word with reception but were very unhelpful I didn't like their attitude in the slightest. The walls are thin and expect not to get a good nights sleep! We had earplugs but the impact noise level was so loud.

The Burns Art hotel is a pleasant place to stay, Most of the staff are extremely polite and helpful. There is a mini bar in the large room but we didn't bother with it. They make lovely cocktails in the Bar. (Although there is no kettle in the room). The breakfast was great. The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk to the tram stop - take it two stops and walk across the bridge into the city its a lovely walk and don't forget your padlock to fasten to the bridge. The area at the moment is like a building site so not a pretty location but no problem with noise or anything. I would happily stop there again.

Convenient by the Messe. Big bedroom, very clean, perfect buffet breakfast. And best thing is price, about 60 quid per night. Happy as I am staying forba week. Not too far from some restaurants and other amenities.

The hotel is very attractive and modern. The rooms are featured by a more minimalist but adequate, I missed at least a carpet on the ground, as they are too cold concrete floor. Offer dishes at breakfast is very diverse and certainly more than perfect

I have stayed here a couple of times now for a trade fair, location is an easy walk away from Kolnmesse. staff great, helpful cheerful, bar is great. rooms small but clean and tidy. Needs a little tidying, shower doors in my room do not meet so bathroom floor gets a little wet. funniest thing for me was the keycards, they failed at least once a day so great fun enjoying a beer watching people go up to their rooms only to return 2 mins later, tip, get it reprogrammed before you go up. great off licence just around the corner from the hotel.

The hotel is within walking distance - less than 20 mins - from the 'Messe' (conference and exhibition halls). It has two buildings and one has been completely refurbished. The other has not but will be soon but has smaller, less expensive rooms. I stayed in the older section but was shown one of the newly refurbished rooms. The rooms are small but perfectly appointed and absolutely immaculate. There is a desk in each room, comfortable beds abs down pillows and duvets. The shower was great with strong water pressure - no shortage of hot water, which is immediate - and the bath is fitted with a hair dryer and magnifying mirror (one of my pet peeves). A combination body/shampoo cream is also in the shower but no other lotions or hair conditioner. The newer rooms are large and beautifully decorated and furnished - very Scandinavian looking. They have massive bathrooms with huge walk in showers. The restaurant serves an excellent full breakfast buffet and the bar/reception area is really nice and welcoming with separate areas. The staff here could not be more helpful and went out of their way for every request. The housekeeping staff were also really nice. They genuinely seem to enjoy what they do here and are very proud of their hotel, as they should be. They make every guest feel so welcome. I will definitely return.

This is a convenient hotel for those on a business trip or going to is really close. The hotel is small, clean good bfast and wifi. Basic room compact but very comfortable bed. Just one small offered needs a change. Not good so i opted for tea -huge choice and very good quality!
