A really lovely comfortable hotel in a great location with onsite parking at a small cost. Friendly professional staff. Breakfast and restaurant areas need an upgrade and the chairs not so comfortable. The room was quiet and comfortable but very warm. Apparently aircon was off because of the season but the room needed to be cooler, unfortunately I had an uncomfortable nights sleep.

Lovely hotel with a true old palace feel. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Room was large with two comfortable beds as requested. The hotel has a very nice restaurant for dinner as well as a large breakfast room with a delicious breakfast buffet. The property has an outdoor pool and ample outdoor seating as well as a parking lot. We did not use the spa. We would definitely return.

Generally the rooms were clean. Breakfast offered a wide selection of items including meats, cheeses, salads, and sweets. The eggs were not good and did not offer option for fried/ specially made eggs. Staff was friendly and quick to get you you coffee or anything you wanted. I do feel the the way the rooms are represented on line are a misrepresentation of what the rooms really look like. They are not as modern as you might believe and while the are clean they are not as pristine as represented and are in need of upgrades/renovation. It is a pleasant enough hotel, just was expecting more from a 4 star hotel.

Amazing property in the old castle. Beautiful rooms, nice, airy and spacious. Great location in town, close to many restaurants and shops. Has beautiful views, great pool and friendly staff. Breakfast could have been better, but overall was not bad. Would stay there again.

Staff was friendly although didn’t offer much in the way of helpful advice or suggestions .Room was quite modern and clean. Breakfast was mediocre and some details were lacking: Many of the “clean” plates at the breakfast buffet were dirty with stuck-on food. Town had very limited things to see and do. There were a couple good dining options, but not many during early season.
