high quality mexican food. the presentation of the plates very exclusive, professional menu for luncheon or dinner and buffet for breakfast I had a soup with chick peas and my friend had a pozole seca with greens.

I visited Colima for two weeks teaching at a University. I stayed at Hotel Mision for this time and had a wonderful experience. The staff did everything possible to make me feel welcome and help me in whatever way they could. I ate at the hotel frequently and especially loved the very extensive Buffett breakfast and the menu of lunch/dinner local specialities. The hotel environment is also very relaxed. All in all a great experience.

The hotel was beautiful and perfect for the family. The staff made us feel like royalty. We brought our newborn and every accommodation that we needed or wanted was well taken care of. Our cleaning ladies; Fatima, Adelita, Cuca ( the cook), Ana Roja and Tere ( she was always nice gave us suggestions for places to visit) took a few minutes each day to answer and address all of my wife's questions and concerns. They made us feel welcomed and showed genuine concern for our well-being. Mario, our waiter, went out of his way to make our stay comfortable, including bringing us hot water every morning for us to make our baby's formula. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family members.

Mision colima has a great view of the Volcano and great staff .Front desks manager Mercedes and Christian are One of the reasons I like to stay there they go Above and beyond for me and my family.Mision Colima has a great pool very quiet atmosphere it has a old classy look like a Spanish Hacienda.

The rooms are really nice and clean. What I've liked the best is the service at the restaurant. Our waitress Mary was very nice and answered all our questions. I love how they conserve the Mexican history in the hotel.

The rooms are bright and clean, small balcony overlooking the pool and garden. The service in all respects was wonderful. Mario, our restaurant server is a very nice young man. His ability to speak English excellent, and he was so accommodating and pleasant. Noel, the bell boy, assisted is with taxi service to and from a wedding we were attending at a place the taxi drivers were not familiar with. He called us after the wedding to make sure we had transportation back to the hotel. Both women at the desk were also very helpful and accommodating. I would not hesitate returning to Hotel Mision in the future.

We had a restful stay. Enjoyed the friendly staff. Tere who kept our room very clean and tidy; Dulce in the restaurant was gracious and went above and beyond to ensure we wee happy, despite our inability to speak much Spanish. Also enjoyed our two waiters/bartenders who were engaging and very helpful. Noel worked hard to help with making things comfortable and offered suggestions for sights and activities. The front desk supervisor was also friendly and helpful, though I have forgotten her name. Not fancy, but comfortable.q

During our stay in Mision Colima it was very pleasant ! The staff was fantastic and made our stay 100 times better then expected. Everyone was friendly and made sure we were well taken care of . We are forever grateful to the cooks and waiters who we had the privilege to meet ; Byron, Cuca, Eriverto, Sulcedo.

As soon as we arrived, Noel greeted us outside to help us with luggage and offered us a cool drink of agua fresca/jamaica juice. The hotel is beautiful, clean and quiet. Christian and the staff did their best to make sure we had all we needed and then some - even providing extra towels, soap and bottled water for my tuckered out children and elderly mother. We arrived late so we ate at the restaurant... We were pleasantly surprised by the good rates, kids menu and excellent food made by Cuca Olivia Heriberto (we had traveled a lot of Mexico by this point - this is real food and not too heavy). Drinks also good, though not beach size. Best of all, quiet for sleeping and great view of the volcano from the north side. Pool was refreshing too. Don't expect super fancy, but service is really good! Hotel is great location for those who can drive, if not, expect to cab 10 minutes to downtown.

Very nice peaceful hacienda-like hotel in Colima Mexico, ample romos and quiet resting. Service is quite unique from front desk to bellboys like Noel to restaurant employees like Dulce, all do their best to help and make your stay comfortable. Minor issues with my reservation from call-center but was quicly resolved by Miss Lola at the Front Desk. The breakfast buffet is basic but vary tasty and reflects the región's mexican dishes, of course you can get fresh made omeletts pancakes and quesadillas from the grill. The romos have a nice view from the gardens and pool (pool needs a better cleaning program and heating). No charges for parking and in general a very nice property with quick Access to the highway and the new mall Zentralia. From Colima you can get to the beach in 40 min at Boca de Pascuales and El Real, delicious sea food, and the black volcanic sand fom this beautiful paciffic sea sites. We really enjoyed six days of this small but nice city and the surrounding towns.
