Absolutely beautiful lodge and surrounding, lots of wildflowers and wildlife… spent our mornings having breakfast on the decking watching all the wild rabbits playing.Only slight downside is that the tvs have the apps blocked so you can not use Netflix etc but you can plug in a fire stick and stream it through that. Will definitely be going back and would recommend.

Great lodge and very spacious for two.

Great lodge and very spacious for two. Spotlessly clean, everything worked as expected. Bed comfortable, linen and towels provided. Love the layout of the Walpole, cosy, comfortable and well designed.

A wonderfully spacious lodge for two people with nearly everything you could wish for in a holiday home. The only slight issues and I do mean slight were the very basic TV options and possibly the need for a few more cushions/pillows but, that aside everything else was perfect for our holiday. We stayed in lodge 99 at the far end of the park next to the duck pond. The location of our lodge was exceptional and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful lodge - being a one-bedroom means there’s just so much space. The bedroom and bathroom are huge and the open-plan kitchen/living room is perfect. We had a veranda looking out over a pond and it was perfect for sitting in the sunshine.

Lodge had all we needed for our stay - overall it was good but just felt that it needed a bit of a spruce up, rip in cushion on settee, quite a few marks on walls. It may be as it’s after a busy summer, we enjoyed it though and the log burner was great for the nights. Overall comfy and warm
