La casa tiene un amplio plan de piso abierto con techos abovedados en todo. Hay una chimenea de propano de pie, televisión de pantalla plana con barra de sonido y un montón de espacio en la sala de estar para relajarse después de un día jugando en el gran patio o caminando por millas en la playa de arena.

La espaciosa cocina está totalmente equipada para todas sus necesidades de cocina y cuenta con una gran mesa de comedor con capacidad para ocho. Hay una nueva cama queen en el dormitorio del nivel principal, para aquellos que no quieren lidiar con las escaleras. El gran dormitorio principal en la planta superior tiene una cama king y una gran vista de las rutas de navegación y puestas de sol. El segundo dormitorio del segundo piso tiene una cama doble y dos camas individuales para aquellas familias con muchos niños.

El patio grande tiene su propio pozo de herradura y hay mucho espacio para jugar juegos de patio. El porche cubierto permite disfrutar de una comida familiar en la gran mesa de comedor al aire libre, mientras contempla las magníficas puestas de sol y escucha las olas rompiendo en la playa. Hay un área de firepit al final de su paseo marítimo privado a su playa, ¡así que no se olvide de traer los ingredientes para Smores!

Traiga también sus kayaks, ya que puede lanzarlos directamente desde su propia playa. Cozy and welcoming beach getaway

My daughter and I stayed here for Thanksgiving and found it lovely and charming. The propane fireplace makes it feel very cozy and warm in cold weather. The beds are firm but comfortable, the kitchen has most of what anyone would reasonably need, including some kid-friendly dishware. The views are stunning, and the beach walking superb. Location feels perfect - remote but close enough to supermarkets, a nice local playground, and other amenities. April the property manager is responsive and helpful. If I was searching for criticisms, the water filtration pitcher has probably earned its retirement and the grill needs some maintenance, but we didn't experience anything that took anything away from our stay, and we look forward to visiting again someday.

Peaceful and cozy fall getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend with friends and a dog — enjoying the beautiful views out the window, walking on the beach, cooking dinner, and lounging about on the cozy couches! Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect week at the beach

Me, my friend, and our daughters had a marvelous time at this beautiful house on the water. Our 8-year-olds never even asked to turn on a screen while we were here. They played in the tides, enjoyed the rented kayak, and drew. It was a wonderful, un-plugged get-away!

Perfect Spot

We had a great long weekend with our adult children! The house is the perfect location, right on the beach, close to Langley for a fun afternoon and we loved the winery close by. The house is clean and the owner was very responsive, we would definitely rent this house again.

Thanksgiving

This house was a great fit for our family of three couples and one small dog to spend Thanksgiving together. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing our feast, with the turkey cooked on the barbeque grill. Beautiful setting with lovely sunrises turning the Olympics pink and sunsets creating dramatic outlines. There is good beach access. We brought our small inflatable and set crab pots, and the only downside was not getting any crab. Clean and well cared for, with reasonable requests for guests to keep it that way.

Great Whidbey Getaway

Wonderful location on a long stretch of beach. Beds are comfortable, view are magnificent, and the proximity to wildlife is fantastic. Great for a 2 family getaway. Also an easy drive to the Saturday Farmer's Market, Whidbey Island Donuts, Rocket Taco, etc. Highly recommend!

Fabulous view

It was very clean and well equipped. We had a small family group for thanksgiving holiday. Thanks for providing basic supplies such as paper products and soap! Not everyone does as well. Overall everything was just as presented. We did our best to follow the rules and leave everything shipshape.

October weekend

The property was perfect for us including floor plan and beach access. We love to cook when we visit the island. It would have been so nice to have a complete set of measuring cups for dry ingredients and a cup for measuring liquids.

Lovely beachfront property

Lovely house, very consistent with the listing. The beachfront location is wonderful as is south Whidbey island (great state parks, and two amazing dog parks nearby). The fire pit was great too. If you have an inflatable paddleboard you can bring it and get right on the water (though obviously watch out for winds/tides). Low tide is amazing with lots of beach life to discover and there's a park that's walkable down the beach with swings etc. The house itself has everything you would expect and is well-kept. Note that the grass area to the beach isn't fenced, so it feels slightly communal with the other properties, but that worked out great as the kids from different houses were encouraged to play with each other. Would stay here again. Recommended.

Maxwelton visit

Thank you to the owners and the prop manager April for facilitating a much needed peaceful weekend. We loved the property, and the location is an area that I have not been to previously. I greatly appreciate and prefer a house that fits the neighborhood rather than a some gaudy McMansion. Your property was just right for us. We look forward to returning soon.

Wonderful and comfortable beachfront rental on Whidbey Island

This home is so well cared for and though the pictures are great, it's even better in person. The neighborhood is very quiet and the home easy to find. The grass lawn leading up to the beach is lovely and great for kids running around. The view was spectacular at all times of day and true to the description, we saw eagles! The home is super clean (and I'm picky) and is well equipped in the kitchen. We've stayed in a lot of rental properties and this home was definitely one of our favorite. We also fell in love with Whidbey Island and are already trying to find time to return to this rental. Many thanks for a great family vacation.

The pictures don't do it justice

We enjoyed a fantastic early September week in Maxwelton. Wonderful sunsets each night, long walks on the beach, and lots of quiet after Labor Day. If there's a next time, we'd bring kayaks and/or bikes -- both very doable.

Great space!

Great place to kick back. Loved the views of the water and beach awhile it was raining . Only suggestion is some more things for the kitchen- dish rack, Tupperware, maybe a couple more wine glasses..

Wonderful week

This was such a wonderful home—perfect for a beach week, swimming, yard games and water activities. Very nicely set up for families or an adults only getaway. The pathway to the beach was well maintained and although we weren’t able to use the fire pit (burn ban), the covered porch had a beautiful sunset view. Can’t wait to return!
