Great place!

This Was our second time staying at this location and it is a fantastic place to stay. The host is amazing and our dogs love the lake and the trails behind the lake. The home is clean and very well stocked. We will be back.

Wonderful stay

We loved our stay at Palm Lake. The location was close to town and shopping. The house was great and fit our needs. My son enjoyed hanging by the lake fishing and paddle boarding with my husband. We enjoyed walking the property with our 14 year old spaniel. I will definitely book this cottage again!

A Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed the large property walking trail and lake. Host was very nice and we were very comfortable throughout our stay. What a wonderful place to relax.

Perfect Cottage

We picked Palmlake Cottage because it was very close to our son and it was pet friendly, also access to a lake. Well it definitely surpassed our expectations, everything you would ever need was provided and the cottage itself was meticulously clean. Cliff was always available if you needed him for anything. The lake was a short walk from the cottage and our son caught the biggest large mouth bass he has ever caught! We had a wonderful trip and will definitely visit again. Relaxing Getaway

My wife and I were in the area for my daughter’s wedding. We needed a house where her dogs could stay for the wedding and this house was perfect. After the wedding it was quiet enough that we could recuperate.

Perfect stay near family

We were in town visiting family for a wedding. This was a perfect location in relation to our family. House is nicely decorated and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Host is very nice and easy to communicate with. We love that it’s pet friendly, although we didn’t have them with us this stay, we love the option for future visits. Thank you again for a wonderful visit.

Girls weekend

We took a short girls weekend with our pups! Celebrating my granddaughters 21st Birthday. PLC definitely lives up to its name. We had an amazing stay and are talking about our return trip to take advantage of the fishing!!

Great rental home

Great house, super clean, well stocked. The check-in process was a breeze. Host was very responsive. Nice fenced yard for our fur babies. Wish we would have had time to fish in the lake. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, cozy, clean home in a great location!

We absolutely love this house!! It is in a great location and the host was so amazing! He gave us advice on places to eat and was there for us when we had a question, no hesitation! There is a notebook on the counter when you arrive that tells you all a great places to eatand anything else you might need for your stay. You will not be disappointed! We hated leaving and are already planning our next trip!! A

Peaceful

Overall, our visit was peaceful and relaxing. The cottage is roomy and has everything you could need. I didn't read the listing very well because I thought we would be closer to the lake. The only downside was the fenced yard because its not maintained and or kept tidy. There are lots of mushrooms growing and has an old dirty doghouse. Looks abandoned. s

The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable, there were a few cute towns close by for when we wanted to go out and the pond was great for swimming and hanging out when we just wanted to stay home.

Family fun!

Cool little farm house with cows and chickens nearby. My daughter caught her first fish at the lake and we all enjoyed swimming and kayaking. The cows were hilarious. Very curious and cute! The fenced in yard was a huge help with our dogs too. We are coming back in the fall!

Relaxing stay

Had a great time staying here at Palm Lake. Great spot to sit outside or on the porch and relax. Easy to get into town for groceries, etc. A lot of great state parks and a National Forest within easy driving distance. Cliff and Tasha are exceptional hosts as well: Very quick to respond to any requests or questions and gracious too!

Northeast Georgia Vacation

North Georgia Family Gathering

We had an excellent family visit and the Palm Lake Cottage was the perfect place to retreat to and rest. Palm Lake Cottage was perfectly located and met all of our needs. Everything was in order and we never had to contact the owner except to say that we had arrived. We will definitely return.

We loved this property!

Stayed here with my wife, 13 year old daughter and her friend. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. We spent a lot of time on the small private lake on the property kayaking and paddle boarding. Lake was cold but tolerable for swimming. Probably ideal by May. Location is great! 10 minutes to downtown Clarkesville which is a cute little town with some nice restaurants. And 20-25 minutes to Helen, Taccoa Falls, Tallulah Gorge and my personal favorite, Minnehaha Falls, a really nice waterfall with a short walk in at a very secluded and quiet spot. All in all we had a great time at this property and my daughter is already asking if we can go back!

Fall 2023

Property was absolutely beautiful. We had a great time exploring around the area along with a couple of days relaxing at the house. Loved seeing all of the deer that came out to feed. One night i know we counted at least 12 deer. Definitely hope to return.
