Second Stay in Casa Stella

We had again an excellent time as expected. The house is surrounded by a very nice garden, the view from the pool is amazing. You have everything you need, the house is well equiped, everything is clean, we felt again like in paradise. The family who takes care of the house, especially Domenico is very nice and very very helpful, thanks again to family Paloucci for making our stay that perfect. Hope we are able to come back next year again.

Peaceful calm

We just returned from the most wonderful, relaxing, tranquil vacation at this beautiful house! It is our second stay here and we hope to make it annual! The garden is just gorgeous, the house is perfectly maintained, the swimming pool is glorious and the view is incredible! There are wonderful characteristic towns nearby and the local produce is inspired! Though the best time we spent was just hanging around together at this lovely house!! The family which runs the house does so with dedication and love and it was an incredibly relaxing vacation all around we can’t wait until next year!!

Wonderful stay at Casa Stella

We had a very pleasant stay in Casa Stella. Beautiful house and swimming pool in a beautiful natural setting with wonderful views. The house was very clean and gardens/swimmingpool were perfectly maintained. Only remark from our side was that the two bedrooms are not equivalent. Although that is indicated in the description the second bedroom was smaller than we expected. Since we stayed with two adult couples the setting of the smaller bedroom was ok but not ideal.

A Wonderful and Welcoming Place in the Umbrian Countryside

Casa Stella is one of the most wonderful places that we have stayed in. It is a pleasure - large, well-appointed rooms with a lovely garden and stunning views of the countryside. The large main bedroom and the living room have french doors on both sides. The kitchen is large and many a lovely meal was prepared there and enjoyed mostly outdoors on a table under the shady veranda. The generously sized swimming pool was perfect for cooling off in a very tranquil setting. If it’s peace and quiet you are looking for – perfetto! What made our stay even more special was the welcome from Domenico and his family. We were greeted by wine, eggs, and delicious tomatoes from the family’s produce. Unfortunately our Italian is limited, but that did not stop us communicating and Domenico and family were always very helpful, guiding us to places to see and even booking a restaurant table for us. There is a lot to see within an hour or so’s drive from the property. Perugia, Città di Castello, Assisi, Deruta (for ceramics), Gubbio, Castiglione del Lago and Cortona are all worth a visit. The countryside around Lake Trasimeno provides a contrast to the more hilly areas near the villa. And special mention should be made of the beautifully preserved village of Montone with its splendid views over the Tiber valley. We have brought home some very special memories of our holiday in Umbria.

Beautiful and peaceful environment in Umbria

Lovely and peaceful cottage with all amenities. Beautiful house, garden and swimming pool (even if we could not use it by the time we were there). The owner provided us with everything that we required during our stay. The only cons would be the heater that during cold weather might not be sufficient. The house also might be a bit isolated for the main Tuscany spots which on the other hand can be considered as a pro if you look for quietness. Lovely journey in beautiful Umbria, close to Gubbio and Assisi.

We just loved our stay! The house and garden was beautiful and the pool area fantastic. It had everything we needed, except we didn't have mobile data outside the house, only Wi-Fi inside parts of the house. The host was not there, but her sister and father lived next door. They only spoke Italian, so we used google translate to communicate. They were very friendly and even gave us vegetables from the garden, wine and cake for free. We can highly recommend this place.

Just home after a lovely, relaxing holiday at Casa Stella. The accommodation was clean and tidy for our arrival and had everything we needed for our two week stay. The garden areas and the pool were kept in immaculate condition by our hosts, who also provided us with some of their wonderful home grown produce, during our stay. Their warm welcome and generous hospitality made our stay very pleasant. The vista from the property is amazing which definitely enhanced our overall experience. It's a great location for exploring the charm and ambience of beautiful Umbria.

Wunderbare Zeit

Minute an.

Peaceful Oasis

Beautiful house, stunning location, great pool! Extraordinary views! Quiet and peaceful. Great place to relax. Need to speak a little Itaian at least, host doesn't speak English (called brother on the phone who spoke a little). Email contact better. Host's father Domenico is on site at house next door taking care of plants and pool. Kind and friendly. And a great problem solver. Delt with issues immediately. We felt very welcome. Truly a magical stay. We look forward to going back again soon!

Erholung pur

Amazing place!!

This is the best house we have ever stayed in. What an amazing place, beautiful house and priceless views. The house is so clean and everything that you need. The beds were made and so comfortable. All kind of products in the kitchen and well equipped. Dominico is absolutely the best host ever. So friendly and caring, bringing vegetables and making sure the pool is clean. So nice to chat, the kids adored him, and wanted to take him home :). We miss being there already and will definitely come back.
