Shower was dirty and had a used bar of soap in it.
Upon arrival, check in was easy and fast for a Friday late afternoon. Once we got to the room we found leftover food in the fridge which indicates the cleaning crew did not check that area. Fatima (mgr on duty) was very responsive when I made her aware of the food. She came to room and cleaned it out. Beds and pillows were both decently comfortable. The swimming pool area is very dingy, dark, and looks dirty. There is paint peeling all around the pool deck and on the floor of the pool. Saturday morning as we made our way out the back side door to head to the Newport Aquarium, we encountered a mess of FECES splatter against the brick as well as strewn across the concrete pavement!! I immediately alerted the front desk about the situation. We returned back to the hotel 5 HOURS later to find that the disgusting site was STILL THERE! No one had cleaned it up! Mind you, this weekend, it was 82 degrees!! At this point, I am appalled. I make my way back to the front desk and this time Fatima (check in mgr) was working. I alerted her to the issue and the fact that I had let the morning shift know this and nothing was done. She immediately jumped into action to take care of it.
Breakfast area was clean and stocked. Pool area was very dated and felt like it was from a creepy movie. Staff was friendly. Carpets and shower area were dirty. Whole place was dingy and needed updates. Very noisy. You can hear everyone above you, beside you, and in the halls. Nice that there is a shuttle though for $1 per ride.
I would definitely stay here again! The staff was very nice and easy going!

Door to our room was left jammed open with door block when we arrived. Water was leaking from ceiling into bucket just outside our room. Tv didn’t work and manager had to come down to get it to work but problem with wires kept causing it to go on fritz. Woke up in morning and realized no bath towels in room so had to dry off with a hand towel. Room smelled a bit funny maybe due to water leak outside room.

The front desk guy was super helpful every time I needed something. The indoor pool was cold, but other than that it was nice.
Stayed here during the C19 virus issues, things were limited but staff was always helpful and super friendly. They had pack and go breakfast instead of buffet but they made sure you had plenty to eat. Everyone was super helpful with my requests. I can only imagine this would get better with no virus issues. Great stay!
The hotel clerk spent a lot of time straightening out the orbitz payment issues. Staff was supportive through storm induced water shutdown and power outage.
The rooms were a nice size. Enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. However, the door had a small gap so you heard outside coming and going.
I especially liked the breakfast buffet. It had a greater selection than I had expected.
