A lovely stay at The Sheiling

The hut was perfect for our stay in the Cotswolds. It is lovely, decorated tastefully, with everything you might need and a beautiful view. It’s also perfectly located to visit several gorgeous villages and do some great walks.

Lovely spot with every comfort!

We had a lovely weekend staying at the Sheiling! The accomodation was perfect, and the spot is truly quiet with the most amazing sunset colours! The Sheiling is full of every comfort. We loved it and hopefully will be able to come back!

Short Stay At The Sheiling

A great place to stay , very cosy , very well finished quiet and great views . Secure parking for normal cars. A few minutes walk to one of the best pubs in the country - the Kings Head at Bledington.

Delightful shepherd’s hut in an idyllic location

A fantastic find. A beautiful shepherd’s hut, spotlessly clean with everything you could need including a welcome pack of essentials and a secluded garden. A friendly, knowledgeable host. Hope to revisit and would definitely recommend.

A Cosy Retreat with a Wonderful Host

We had such a lovely stay at the shepherd's hut. It was incredibly cosy – the perfect place to unwind and relax. Everything was thoughtfully set up and spotless, making it feel like a real home-from-home. What made the experience even better was the host, who was so friendly and exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and her local tips really added to our trip. Highly recommend!

An ideal bolthole

Compact and comfortable. Very quiet location. Ideally suited for visiting National Trust Properties. Needs to have instructions for using the hotplate otherwise most satisfactory.

A lovely cosy stay

We had a great couple of nights stay in the shepherds hut. Justine made sure we had everything we’d need for our arrival (tea, milk and biscuits!) and suggested places for us to visit. So welcoming! The nights were cool outside but we were supper cosy with the log burner and a comfy bed!

Excellent accomodation and polite owners

Would 100% recommend a stay here. We loved it. Perfect little hut with a self contained garden. Friendly welcome on arrival and tentative owners. The only point I would raise is due to the heat when we stayed it would have been nice to have a small fan or something to that effect. However would stay again

Winter break

The Sheiling is a wonderful retreat. Perfect for couples and still room for a four legged friend. Don’t expect to cook up gourmet meals but it has all you need for light refreshments. With the abundance of lovely pubs in the area it’s a perfect excuse not to cook. The space is compact but well layed out and the log burner makes for a super cosy feel. The view out is wonderful and the road is super quiet. Totally restful and peaceful
