Specifically chose this property because of the free parking feature and shuttle to airport for our vacation. I called three different times to confirm free parking, including 3 days before we arrived. Never once was I informed parking was NOT included by booking through orbitz - they charged us $10 per day upon arrival. Rooms were typical Holiday Inn rooms, just unfortunate we got screwed on parking and will choose a better option next time.

We chose this for the free airport shuttle and pool/ hot tub. The shuttle was booked, the pool was under construction and the hot tub closed

location good, bad staff. given room was not cleaned,. no bath towels in the room. After requesting I got it that evenining.

We had two rooms, room 108 and 112, room 112 was a good room, however room 108 seemed to have some issues mostly with the door. We had many issues with opening the door to the room. We had to switch our keys to the room over ten times because they would suddenly not work. Then when it did work you had to put all your body weight into it to open it. It was a very difficult situation and to make matters worse we never had a pleasant experience when getting the new keys. Every time we would have to get a new working key we were given a negative attitude about it stating that we shouldn’t need so many keys and what were we doing wrong to open the door (we also were never asked for any sort of identification when getting keys to the room which was concerning to us). While the door and key situation was our biggest frustration we also had some other concerns with the same front desk associate. Throughout our stay we never had a positive interaction with this woman, other examples being: ⁃ Upon asking for the WiFi password at the front desk the woman threw a new one at on of my coworkers and said it’s on here. When examined there was no code on it and she had to go back and ask again until she was finally given it. This lady did not ask for ID or reservation name when we asked for new cards. Scary. ⁃ When asking for more towels, we felt like an inconvenience as they were basically shoved into our arms. -microwave and toilet were both broken.

Very friendly staff, fast and easy check in. Clean room, super comfy bed and pillows. Updated clean bathroom.

Hotel room was exceptionally clean. Staff went out of their way to be helpful with directions. The shuttle was somewhat inadequate, was a 9 passenger van for a fairly large hotel. Could not get rides to and from the blue line when I needed them. Booked the day before for a ride to the airport and hotel called and paid for a cab when the shuttle was full. Breakfast was plentiful. Good selection, although eggs and sausage were not that good.. Pool was small and got crowded. All things considered, it worked out very well. Would stay there again.

The first and second day there was no pancakes or chocolate milk for the children and it was only 7am i asked her for chocolate milk she said no don't have none so i had to go to McDonald's all so the third day i took my children swimming and we took are seats and my children got in the pool and one of mother took my daughter eye glasses and iPhone and put it in there seat that was not right and one of the kids stoled my daughters goggles and the same child was playing with a noodle toy and hit my daughter in the face my children stayed in a corner for 10 minutes the boy didn't want them there and a teenage girl took her bikini top off and exposed her self we could not go in the jacuzzi because 5 years old were swimming in the jacuzzi also they had lifeguard tubes in the pool and the strings were all over the pool so we left and i told the lady that the front desk i didn't say any thing to the people there because there was about 20 African American and they were all cussing at each other so i took my children back to the room i went back at 9pm to see if they were gone but no luck they were still there and no i don't think we will stay there again

We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Chicago when our flight got cancelled to Minneapolis. The staff was very friendly. They offered to hold our luggage so we could go grab a bite to eat when our hotel room wasn't going to be ready for a few more hours. The breakfast the next day was a great surprise as some places don't offer hot food much anymore unless you pay for it, so having scrambled eggs, sausage and pancakes was a treat!

I'll use them agains. The hotel was clean and quiet.

Stayed here for 3 nights for a work conference. Have stayed here before without problems. This time, they had fire alarm " malfunctions" which made the alarms go off 4x during the night one night and 1x the next night. The loudest ear piecing noise I've ever heard. So not only did i get very little sleep, but my eyes were so swollen from the cleaner or bleach they use in the laundry to wash sheets. Very strong!! Pros are it's very close to Target so can go there and get food, necessities and they have a fridge, microwave and airport shuttle.

We were only there for the weekend but the staff was great and the hotel was clean. Also the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was nice too.

Good: I booked this hotel because they offer free parking, free wifi and free breakfast. The hotel was basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were really polite and courteous. It was a good option for visiting Chicago with a family and avoiding the crazy parking charges. Close to restaurants and stores. No bar or restaurant but plenty of choices locally.

I booked this trip for a sports filled weekend for my Dad but wanted to save money by not staying downtown. The room and price were great, but even more, the staff was fantastic. They were very accommodating on transporting us to the Blue Line and the airport on multiple occasions. They also were helpful and friendly, which is hard to come by these days. Specifically the guys working the evening shift - Omar and Byron.

My spouse and I stayed here simply for having a room to sleep in while we attended an event in Chicago. It's a little far from where we needed to be, but there was ample free parking and it was close to the freeway. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was good. The woman at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again.
