I reserved 2 rooms. We had 105 and 107. Stay in 107 was fantastic but 105 is next to the fitness room and waking up to the sound of the treadmill at 5am wasn’t my cup of tea.
The size of the property made it seem more user friendly for me. Larger properties are a negative.

The room was clean and the staff were very nice. The only thing that concerned me was that hand sanitizer dispenser by the front desk was out when I checked in at night and was still out the next day at 11 AM when we checked out.
We stayed 5 nights at this Holiday Inn Express Libertyville. We had a 2 queen size bed room. The bed mattresses were very hard. I'm not a picky person and have stayed at other Holiday Inn Express hotels. This one did not measure up to the others. If you want your room cleaned daily you need to pay extra. The bathroom walls had mold growing on them and in some places had been partially caulked over. Breakfast was fine. They have cereal, fruit, pancake machine, variety of breads, pre made eggs that are warmed, coffee, juices. On Saturday and Sunday the front desk help was in the Meeting Room with friends and not tending to duties at the front desk. Another employee was sitting in lobby and surfing internet. These were rather large size employees. We wanted to play cards at the lobby/dining table, but the employee took up the table and chairs. When checking out, we were told computer was down and could not get receipt..
Great location for the wedding venue, hotel is clean and up to date. Was able to walk to forest preserve, there is a Starbucks right next door. Overall very nice stay.
Staff was very friendly. The rooms could have been cleaner. Toothpaste on the faucet on check in.
This is a great hotel to stay when you go to Great Lakes Naval Base for your sailor's P.I.R. Ten minute drive and you are on base. Great staff, great rooms, excellent hot breakfast. Best value
We were expecting a much cleaner room for the nearly $150 we were paying each night. However, the room was dirty and we saw several spiders. Unfortunately, we were in town for a funeral and did not have the time or energy to ask for refunds and try to find another hotel. The breakfast was sub-par with watery powdered eggs and rude staff that did not keep it stocked. Most employees spoke Spanish, so they were hard to communicate with. We would not stay here again.

Had a long drive from hanover Park to spend time with friends in Libertyville. Perfect overnight spot just up the street from good entertainment. Room was great. Bed comfortable. Spotless. Friendly front desk staff. Extremely quiet.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would have preferred not to have so many signs in the room reminding me not to take hotel property and such.
