The young woman on duty when I both checked in and checked out could use some help gaining people skills. I loved my room and the location, and would stay there again easily.
I had submitted to get a 4star hotel close 2 Woodfield Mall. Said it was 2.6 miles but untrue. Booked early so could get nice place with amenities for our 46th anniversary. I wont book with Orbitz again. I thought i booked with Hotwire. Nothing wrong with hotel, just mot a 4dtar and not close
Bath/Shower would not drain. Took 2 days for someone to correct after several complaints. Did not clean or replace towels for 4 days. Missing 2nd remote. Overall worn/shabby appearance.

No outgoing calls, was told they do not give that option to hotel guests, you have to use your cell phones. Beds are listed as queen size but they were not. Mattress was also very uncomfortable. Mildew on bathroom ceiling plus peeling ceiling. No ventilation in any area of room. Room smelled like seafood, but according to the front desk that no seafood is offered in their eating area. Ended up switching rooms and counted the days tell my stay was over.

I was very surprised by how big the suites were, and didn't realize it was 2 rooms! It was very spacious and the beds and pillows are super comfortable! The kitchenette was excellent to have and they provide everything you need, pots and pans and silverware, even dish soap and extra paper towels. The breakfast was always great in the morning and they had coffee out through the day. The staff was always nice and the breakfast attendants were always hard working and friendly. I loved this place!
Eating area needs improvement. Staff don’t need to sit in same area with guest during breakfast

Carpeting in hallways was in need of replacement but my room was clean and comfortable. I would stay again.
I've been at this hotel before, took it for the price again, but I'll never go back. Please understand that the staff is very, very friendly; BUT the place is filthy and smells terrible. Carpeting in the halls and stairways is full of stains and has a disgusting, pungent odor. My room smelled of cigarette smoke-- actually, a cigarette and musty combination-- and the drain in the bathroom reeked of mildew. The room's loud air conditioning unit ran almost constantly yet still could not dehumidify and cool the air properly. As far as the hotel's breakfast area, its counters, tables, floors, and dispenser of plastic knives/forks/spoons were dirty and probably a health hazard. (And I've never been at another hotel that put out such bruised, overripe, mushy apples, oranges, and bananas for breakfast.) I paid a total of about $78 per night but wasted even that on this dump. I strongly recommend you put your money elsewhere and, if necessary, pay a little more in order to get a middle-class experience. BUYER BEWARE!
The breakfast was very good and we had a variety every morning for the 4 nights we stayed. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
overall experience ok but none of the staff members had friendly smile and I had to make them all speak everything else was ok. But there was an unrelated problem with the construction
