Room itself was fine; clean and modern. The issue is that the walls are paper thin- you can hear conversations, snoring, and television sounds clearly in your own room. Furthermore, the place is primarily an event venue/banquet hall so there will be significant ambient party sounds as well as rambunctious/loud guests. This may not be the place for you if you are staying on a weekend. Also there is no one attending the “cafe” which doesn’t even offer food beyond packaged snacks. Not worth the rate I paid, imo.

My introduction to this hotel came through social media platforms TikTok and Instagram, where promotional videos showcased its attractive features. This led us to book a stay. Upon entering the lobby, I was impressed by its chic decor and beautiful interior design. However, the hallways leading to the rooms were marred by a strong smell of marijuana, which detracted from the overall experience. Although the rooms were visually appealing, they lacked depth, and several issues arose, including a bathroom door that would not close and a sink with slow drainage. The bedsheet also kept coming off, despite housekeeping services. When inquiring about checkout time and a possible extension, I received conflicting information from the staff. Initially, I was informed that the latest checkout time was 11:30 AM, whereas a subsequent inquiry revealed that the complimentary extension was actually until 12 PM. This discrepancy raised questions about the staff's consistency and willingness to accommodate guests. Moreover, the absence of ice machines on the floors and the need to visit the main floor to obtain ice, which was then provided by the staff, struck me as unusual. We will not be staying here again.

No one was at the desk when we arrived for check in. Waited a few minutes, then called the phone. No answer. Key cards were left out in the open for guests so I took the keycard to our room and went to our room. Staff called all up in arms that I had taken my room keys. Why would they have left them out to grab if it wasn’t self check in

They put me in a room and then someone knocked on the door to tell me I need to move to another room. Then the other room I was in had construction right outside the door all day long while I was trying to work

This hotel is beautiful. The lobby has high, high ceilings and incredible artwork. The room we had (luxury king bed), was beautiful. The ceilings are high and everything from the bath towels, to the window drapes were luxurious. The bathroom was beautiful with a walk in shower with titles and large shower head that rained down on you. Anytime we are back in the area, we will be staying here in the future.

The rooms are great, but it’s superficial. No WiFi available due to them switching over to another service. Room was not what we reserved and front desk, while accommodating, made me feel like I was trying to sneak one past her by getting an upgrade that i hadn’t paid for (I had by the way) there is always a problem with the night stands. This has happened more than once at this place. Outlets offered in the nightstand but then nightstand not plugged in. And sometimes outlet is very hard to reach. Why can’t they check this room to room?:/ Movement sensor in the bathroom turns on light and loud fan every time you walk by or enter, nice, except in the middle of the night. Lastly very thin walls and floors, you hear everything outside your room and people walking over your head constantly. This place is beautiful but can be very pricey certain times of the year and I’m just not sure it’s worth it. But Arlington Heights is really lacking in nice updated hotel rooms so you have to weigh your options
