The resort is a big and a few steps to local small village. It is close to The Royal Agricultural Station Angkhang. The room is large with beautiful balcony sitting area. All beds have an electric warm mattress topper , so no worry during Winter. No heater or air-con in room , but has a fan for summer. Hot shower is available . Breakfast has variety and delicious.

Great resort for people who love to be with yourself and your family. Resort is located on the Angkhang hill , cold weather. Near by , there is a royal project , beautiful flowers, good taste restaurant, strawberry fields. Heated bed is available. Bicycle is provided for people who love to see around by yourself. Some small local shopping area are located next to the resort. Great place to recommend for natural lover.

Negative: room are not clean, linin got bad smell, toilet is dirty, need much more attention in details.but still recommend to all.

Lodge/chalet style cabin set amongst beautiful gardens. Very large comfortable bed and all amenities were fantastic. Lovely deck/seating area at front overlooking gorgeous views. On site restaurant is a little on the pricey side but the food was good. Would definitely stay here again.

Great mountain resort located near the entrance to the Royal Project Gardens of the Angkhang mountains! Everything was first class. Large modern bedroom with huge comfortable bed. Very nice bathroom and all amenities that you would need for a comfortable stay. Also beautiful mountain views and the breakfast buffet was also excellent! Short 10 minute walking distance to the small village restaurants and shops down the hill.

Stayed here for two days, and it was quite the relaxing break. However, as beautiful as the location is, one can't help but feel that the resort with a little more effort could get to five stars. The setting is gorgeous: surrounded by lush greenery, with lots of treks near by, this is the place to stay in the area. The rooms are very comfortable, wood cabins that are clean and rustic. Beds are comfy, and the bathrooms are clean with hot water. The check-in staff was very welcoming. Skip the dinner though - there are a couple of better options in the village just down the road. You can borrow bikes from the hotel and ride through the agriculture park near by. The border with Burma is a short drive away and well worth a look.

I joined a tour group visited CNX on November last year. Right when we arrived the resort, staff welcomed us with very polite manner. They provided a car transfer us to our villa, and took us back to the lobby in the morning. Our villa was very nice. The weather on that period was great on Angkhang Hill. We were very comfortable with no air-condition room, heater was under our bad. I really impressed on the resort's atmosphere. It's natural and fresh. I also satisfied with our morning buffet. They provided a variety type of food and it's delicious. I will return to Angkhang Nautural Resort again for sure!

Even it took 4 hours from Chiangmai airport, the place worth staying. The weather is chill here. No air condition in the room , only fan, heater and electric blanket. Rooms are bit old but cleaned. Foods are nice but breakfast line is not variety. The nature here is superb. Staffs are very nice and friendly. Oh slippers are bit dirty better not wear.

We stayed 3 nights in this resort, and enjoyed our stay very much. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is next to the Royal Project, which was a lovely place to spend a day and enjoy fresh peach shakes! Some stains on the carpet and a short shower curtain which left the bathroom floor very wet were a couple of minor issues with the room. The price was very reasonable and included free breakfast. We would stay there again.

I've stayed before and I love the location. The hotel is all wood with a big open reception, restaurant and breakfast area. The views are tremendous and the gardens with trees and shrubs attract many birds. The rooms are large and are connected to an adjoining room by way of a door which is locked. Each has a big queen-sized bed or two big singles. They are comfortable enough and there are extra blankets for the cold nights, which with a gap under the entrance door, can be cool indeed, If you have quiet neighbours in the adjoining room, it can be fine. If not, and they are overly noisy, or have a persistent cough, or talk loudly or turn up the TV, then it can be very annoying. It's a bit of a lottery. There is water provided and a kettle with tea and coffee and there is a mini-bar. The bathroom is large but cool and there is a good shower, which is hot. Fine so far... The not so fine things include a really terrible Wi-Fi. It's almost non-existent. If one of you connect, it knocks the other person out. Very frustrating and for a big hotel, unbelievably bad. The restaurant. I'll start with breakfast. It is fine. Tea and coffee, cereals, fruit, toast, a hot buffet of sausages, potato etc and fresh omelettes, fried or scrambled eggs. The evening meals are abysmal. Truly terrible. Little choice and very poorly cooked. I sent one meal back twice one night and it still wasn't corrected. The chef had gone home and the serving staff were doing the cooking when I walked into the kitchen, which was less than inspiring. There is no excuse for it. The hotel should be employing a good chef all the time and have much better food. The hotel was full. Not a room to be had. However, the restaurant was empty most nights, which said it all. I think that the hotel relies on the fact that it is the only one around, apart from a Thai one in the King's Project which only has a Thai website. There is no competition, so it doesn't have to try. It's a shame really because it could be the jewel in the Amari crown, rather than an average place to stay. I'd stay again, but only because there is no where else to stay and the location is fabulous.
