The best value in all aspects

It has wonderful choice outside grounds to relax. Koi fish are very relaxing. Short walk to whatever you want to purchase. Large shopping centre less than $4 for taxi ride.

Very friendly staff, quaint location, close to the south gate and street food, but far enough away from the traffic noise. Staff helped us rearrange some last minute transport pick up. Would definitely come back again.

Fantastic wifi, beautiful decor and relaxing vibe

I booked a night at Tadkham because I had an hour-long video interview with a Canadian company and needed a fast, reliable internet connection. Reviews here mentioned the speed of their wifi so I took the plunge, and my entire interview went very smoothly with no connection issues. Otherwise, the hotel is a beautiful, quaint retreat in a very quiet neighbourhood. Room was spotless, comfortable, spacious and stylishly decorated. Courtyard has a nice koi pond, and there’s even a library to read in if you don’t want to spend all your time in your room. Staff was so helpful when I had lost my interview notebook and produced wads of paper for me to take notes on. Would definitely stay again!

A small but nice hotel close to Chiang Mai City

A small but nice hotel in Chiang Mai close to the main city square and Old Town. Had everything we needed, although the Wifi wasn't great. The shower in our room broke on New Years Eve, but the staff were quick to come to try and fix it, and when it wasn't possible, we changed rooms without any fuss.

The wi-fi didn't work

While the hotel advertised that my room has wi-fi, it was not working when I got to the hotel. There is one wi-fi network on the first floor, and another on the second floor. The second-floor wi-fi network was not working, and the front-desk employee couldn't fix it. His only suggestion was to go down to the courtyard if I want to use wi-fi. This was unacceptable because I need internet for work, so I asked Orbitz to cancel the reservation and move me to another hotel where the wi-fi isn't broken. Well, this lone hotel employee was not "authorized" to let me cancel my reservation (even though he admits that the room was not as advertised), and I'd have to wait until the next day for someone with real authority to agree to let me cancel, notwithstanding the fact that the hotel was not as advertised. Unbelievable!

Awesome staff

Awesome staff. The young lady in the morning helped us to book a tour in the last minute. She made several calls and eventually one of the tour operators that still have some seats available accepted us. All staff was always extremely helpful and nice! Of our trip of 15 days in Thailand, they were by far the most nicer and helpful. The room was big, and clean. The building is quite old (old style Thai housing) but it's really beautiful with some areas to chill out and relax after a long day. Close to the city centre and markets. Totally recommended.

Nice hotel in a quiet area close to the old city.

Spacious and clean rooms. Good breakfast, fruits, beacon and eggs, toast and cake. Only negative point: the mattress were a little hard.
