I would highly recommend a stay at this B&B. All the people who work there are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful old mansion and our room was wonderful. The bathroom is on the small side but lovely with very nice toiletries. There is coffee, tea, juice, soda, cookies and homemade breads for your enjoyment through out the day and evening. We had a wonderful, delicious breakfast. We met interesting people and had good conversation with other guests staying there.
I had made a reservation for tea time to celebrate my daughter's surprise birthday tea party. When I went to the mansion to walk through and see the sitting arrangements, Jim was very unpleasant. He did not want our guests to arrive a minute early and was not pleased we were having a surprise birthday gathering there. As I told him he was not very accommodating, should I cancel the reservation? He quickly grabbed a pencil and said I should cancel the reservation as he was happily going to erase the reservation I had made two months prior. As he is about to erase the reservation he tells me to go to Two Doors Down where they could slap some burgers together, but I wasn't going to have this ambiance. The worst thing is that I believe he is the owner of the mansion! He does not deserve anyone's business with that attitude or those outrageous prices he charges. I called Rx Tea Time and they were 100 times better in every way. Don't bother with this man Jim.
My wife and I have stayed here now on 3 separate occasions. Beautiful bed and breakfast and super friendly staff. Jim and Holly have always made us feel like family upon our return to the mansion. Beautiful decor and a fantastic breakfast. Every room is different, some with furnishings brought in during the historical Oregon Trail movement. Located in downtown Cheyenne, coffee shops and restaurants are nearby. We have always enjoyed our stay here and the friendly, family feel of a quiet bed and breakfast. See you next time! I have fallen in love with a building!!! This is a very special place to stay. There is free parking across the road and it is in a great location for walking to local attractions and eateries... Even in the snow 😊 Enter this lovely world and your first treat is the Grand Tour with Jim (what a lovely fella!), and coffee and cookies. This house is absolutely beautiful inside. The public rooms are from another era and straight away you feel at home. What I didn't expect was how beautiful the bedroom would be.. We stayed in "Emma" and on entering the room I can honestly say I was blown away ( I may have cried!). It is stunning, and very spacious and there are delightful bathroom products to use.. Including a cowboy rubber duck. Such a comfortable stay, and breakfast with the host Jim was an added pleasure. There is free WiFi.. There are stairs to lug your suitcases up (in case you have mobility issues) but keep going to the top of the house and your reach the snug... Sit down, read a book, watch the world go by... That what this house does for you.. It relaxes you I could go on.... But I don't want to spoil it for you If you are in the cheyenne area, dont think twice about staying here.. I promise you that you're in for a treat.. I really hope we can return some day...
We've stayed at a number of bed and breakfasts over the years and while my husband has liked many, he is not a fan of what he calls the "doily bed and breakfast." Most Victorian bed and breakfasts fall into this category and he simply tolerates them. That is until we stayed at the Nagle Warren Mansion. While some of the rooms at Nagle Warren are feminine, we stayed in the Francis E. Warren room which Ryan found to be tastefully masculine. He liked the dark wood and loved the beautiful writing desk. So ladies, if you have a man who doesn't appreciate Victorian-style bed and breakfasts, take him to Nagle Warren and book Francis E. Warren's room. He just may change his mind! The entire Nagle Warren is gorgeous. From the fireplaces to the wallpaper one feels as though they've stepped back in time here. Breakfast was very good and we had an enjoyable conversation with the other guests. Also, we loved the location of this property because it was within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go in downtown. I'd highly recommend a stay at the Nagle Warren. I think it captures the essence of old Cheyenne quite beautifully. It's where the Wild West meets refinement.
When one visits Cheyenne, there is only one choice for accommodation and The Nagle Warren Mansion is that choice. Historic and charming, luxurious and elegant , this is truly what all B & B' s strive for andrarely obtain. The rooms are large and comfortable while a sense of peace permeates around you as you relax. We enjoyed The teddy Roosevelt Suite with the sitting room and separate king bed. It is, without doubt, pure luxury. The public rooms are also pure luxury, The Library allows one to read the paper, enjoy a morning cup of coffee or simply just relax. The dining room allows for lively conversation with your fellow guests as the delicious breakfast is served. If your good fortunate allows you to have a conversation with Jim ( The owner ) consider that a bonus, Jim is a wealth of knowledge of Cheyenne and of the mansion. Jim is charming, friendly, professional and a gentleman. He is the steward of this historic mansion and has spent twenty years taking care of it in a manner that shows just how much he cares. The staff ( Holly, Brenda, Connie and The room attendant ( whose name I misplaced and am truly sorry for that ) are all fantastic. Each one was warm and attentive , each one was knowledgeable and each one went out of their way to insure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. On a Sat. afternoon, we enjoyed the afternoon Tea. Served in the front parlour, this is a true afternoon tea. English Tea ( imported from England by Jim ), sandwiches and home made cookies complete this wonderful experience. On a closing note, We wish to thank everyone connected with The Nagle Warren Mansion for allowing us to share this historic Home. It was indeed the most memorable and enjoyable stay.
This is one of the main stops on all the town tours. It has a history going way back. The welcome is very warm and friendly. as you would expect for an historic place the rooms are period and quirky. Wash basin in the room. Bath and toilet in the bathroom. Plenty of amenities in the room. Each stay begins with a tour of the house. Snacks and drinks available all day. Most of them are free to guests. there is a hot tub, but was closed for cleaning when we were there. it really doe feel like an old historic home from home. You really should try this place. Dinner is our and there are places nearby. Breakfast is served at a dining table and is certainly not your normal diner breakfast. You do have to let them know your likes and dislikes as it is take it or leave it. Great quality the owner is usually about and will stop to pass the time of day. Don't forget to buy your souvenir bath duck!!
We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed every minute. The public rooms are nice to relax in. The house has been restored and continues to be so well maintained. Jim, the owner, is so friendly and even sits down to breakfast with the guests if available. There are rooms in the carriage house and the main house. We stayed in Frannie in the carriage house. So, about the amenities. There is most anything you need. Your room has the usual but very. nice things but also a hand steamer, wine opener, lint brush, shoe shine supplies, etc. We had a desk in our room which was fully equipped with everything. Writing tablet, tape, clips and stationary and note cards. It was amazing. Now for breakfast. Yummy, fabulous fruit compote and one morning quiche and the other breakfast burrito and of course with accompaniments. Soda, juice and water are always available in s guest refrigerator along with cookies. The staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. Enough said, it's fabulous.
Owner and host Jim knows how treat his guests. Starting out with a warm welcome it only got better. We had just one night in the Marie Pershing room. It was spacious, totally elegant and comfortable with a glimpse out to the enclosed garden and a spacious and well-equipped en-suite. Jim recommended a good Italian restaurant that suited both me and my vegetarian wife. Breakfast around the big oval table with all the other guests was a treat. We'll be back here in a flash the next time we're in Wyoming. Thoroughly recommended.
The Nagle Warren B&B was built in the 1880's as a single home with six bedrooms and six baths. An easy conversion to a B&B. Beautiful decorations throughout the house, high ceilings, private bath, excellent breakfast and helpful staff. I am very gratified that we chose the Nagle Warren as our place to stay in Cheyenne. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch. I highly recommend this B&B. The state capital and state museum are a few blocks away, Drive around the neighborhood.
