Truly a hidden gem!! This is my second time staying for work and it is worlds above all other options around. Care is put into every detail and it does not go unnoticed. The staff make you feel like royalty during every stay. Thank you for such amazing experiences.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Virginia Guesthouse. The hotel had opened up just the month before, and the property was very-well appointed, and immaculate. It felt like a room night should have cost at least a couple times more than I did. Added bonus, our breakfast at their restaurant was amazing.

A great new hotel for those visiting UVA. While not in the heart of the Corner, it’s still close to Grounds. The Perch, the rooftop bar, was by far our favorite!

This hotel is fantastic! Gorgeous design, super friendly staff, perfect location, and great connection to the uva community. The rooms were well appointed with super soft robes and towels. The staff went above and beyond to greet us. We also ate at the main restaurant Poplar and the food, decor and service was perfect! I’m excited to continue to visit this fantastic addition to the uva community!

Beautiful hotel that was clean, spacious and had comfortable beds and pillows. Great thick bath towels. Excellent gym! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only real drawback would be for mobility issues , the parking garage is not connected and feels disjointed from the hotel. There are stairs and multiple levels to navigate but that wasn’t an issue for us. Highly recommend.

I would’ve given this hotel five stars, had I been charged their normal rack rates. It’s brand new, beautiful, and has an extremely friendly and professional staff. Unfortunately, at nearly $1000 per night on graduation weekend, it raises the expectations and the hotel does not meet that price category of property. It’s a clearly cashing in on a captive audience but seems to be a common theme in the area. That said, as long as you avoid the gauging times, this is an excellent hotel near UVA.

The hotel was beautiful and almost sanitary in cleanliness and the staff was almost too polite. The issues I had were more about things that were lacking. There was no microwave anywhere in the hotel, no trash cans anywhere in any public space to dispose of waste, no coffee available in the lobby, no soda available for purchase at the lobby, a cafe that was closed most of the day, and a menu at the restaurant that was horribly lacking of variety. It was very obvious that the hotel used to be student housing.

Parking... although there is ample parking. (Be sure to remember your plate number) There is a disconnect between the parking deck and the hotel that requires that you walk outdoors to get inside the hotel, then walk to the other side of the hotel up a grand staircase to even get to the reservation desk. If you have multiple bags...forget it. I didn't see anything or anyone to assist you. Also the only elevators are on one side of the guesthouse but rooms are located down a very long hallway, which means a very long walk dragging bags. Now the hotel is beautiful but there seems to be a disconnect between design and functionality.
