I loved the hotel and the accommodation, however, the carpet was dirty and the refrigerator had a bad smell. In all Honesty, those issues aside, it was a wonderful stay

Overall a pleasant stay. Staffs are friendly if you grabbed their attention, but there is room for improvement in terms of professionalism, e.g., called front desk twice in the evening but no one picked up, stood at restaurant entrance for a while without anyone receiving, etc. Room is fairly clean. I was worried about noise at the lobby since there was relatively loud music playing (from some ball room I suppose), it was still audible in the office area in my room but bedroom itself is dead silent (the bedroom and office area are separated by a door which when closed would shut off the outside noise.) Air conditioning is central hence very quiet. No free wifi. I only had breakfast at the restaurant, the full breakfast buffet is $15 + tax, and there is also a continental breakfast for $11 + tax. Food is better than average, but breakfast buffet ends at 10AM which is a bit too early. Shuttle to airport is nominally every 30 min but I did hear one other hotel guest complaining about waiting at the airport for an hour. I myself waited for 15min which is not too bad.

Loved the rooms! Super huge... The Aveda product line was AMAZING!

Our reservation was cancelled and no one was able to figure out how or why. And no staff at this hotel were able to make any accommodation for us. We had to drive around all over the place for over 2 hours with 2 year old screaming to go to bed.

good option, the surrounding is comfortable. Everything is fine except that the wifi is not free.

Everything was excellent and almost perfect. The only thing that I didn't appreciate was the fact that me and my family went to breakfast- buffet that nobody told us was not free and we ended up with $50 bill for it. If I knew I would go eat somewhere else. I fell like I was tricked into it.

It was really good I would have thought breakfast would have been cheaper and food a little fresher. Pancakes and french toast was hard. Bacon wasn't all the way done but other than that the stay was good. I would come back.

awesome hotel...beautiful..nice rooms..bar and food....I will be back..

This hotel is very classy and clean. I enjoy staying here at the Renaissance Hotel when in Charlotte, I definitely fell the "Royal" experience when lodging. The location is the only set back and the over priced breakfast. Well the breakfast is just too ordinary for $20+. If you are okay with traveling 10 miles to get to downtown Charlotte then you will love this hotel. The kids LOVED the pool!

Awesome comfortable and relaxing. I recommend that you come here and enjoy your time. One downer there is no complimentary breakfast

Hotel was nice, but the grout in the shower looked like it was starting to mildew. Other than that everything was good. I did book from Orbiz and the hotel didn't want to honor Wi-Fi when Orbiz had that it was with the room I ordered. The hotel said that it is a third party rental and they're not responsible for what is put on that site.

Was in Charlotte for the Belk Bowl in December nice breakfast spacious room helpful staff convenient location to travel to airport and downtown. would stay there again.

I have stayed at the Omni Hotel in Charlotte and this hotel is the best. I liked being able to see down into the lobby. The hotel was very bright and cheerful. My room was great, I didn't like the switch for the bathroom outside on wall.(lol) I had my children with me so they enjoyed playing with the switch. I will return again the price is great, staff wonderful.

Wonderful staff, beautiful room, free upgrade to club level. We loved our stay and it was convenient to Charlotte and the airport.

We spent a long four day weekend at the Renaissance Charlotte Suites. We were very pleased with the look and style of the hotel. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and also order room service. The food was very well prepared, ample proportions and very delicious. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful when requested. There was ample parking and the hotel was extremely convenient to the airport without having any of the airport noise. We are looking forward to our next opportunity to stay here again.

I love the rooms at the Renaissance Charlotte suites, small yet cozy. The location is a bit secluded which is a blessing and a curse, we had to walk a bit to get some things I had forgotten. The pool area was clean the fitness room was beautiful. The property is amazing and the set up feels upscale. Now the cons. The sauna was out of order. The tub was really small and the room service was absolutely horrible. However the staff rectified the poor quality of breakfast with a much better dinner. All in all this was one of the better Marriott properties I have visited and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Easy access to airport and local food options for business meetings. Airport shuttle was prompt, convenient and free. Wireless was not free.

Perfect spot for a early flight out next morning...good amenities and close to downtown Resturants. Only shortcomings was that I was put in a double when I requested a King.

Room temp was hot because the air condition wasn'tworking properly. I called and complained but no one ever checked it out for me. My family and I were out all day Saturday so we got back to the hotel around 11:00 PM to discover our room had not been cleaned. Once again, I called the front desk to complain and it was cleanedat 11:40 PM. I've never experienced this at a so called "FOUR STAR HOTEL" before and I will never stay there again.

Welcome clerk was not unwelcoming. Upgraded us to the presidential suite for the rudeness bestowed upon us. Very close to airport!
