This property was very clean and the location was perfect for us while we attended a concert downtown Charlotte. We did have a little trouble with the garage door code, not working, but it was discovered that we were given the wrong code number. There is a bit of construction going on in the area as new townhomes are being built so that made for early morning activity right outside the home. The mattresses were mostly comfortable, but the bed frames squeaked a lot. Overall the location and tidiness was a win for us.

Initial check-in was terrific. Upon further inspection we found what appeared to be a nasty feces stain on the carpet in the closet. The order was terrible. Had to purchase air fresheners to sleep in that room. The property manager said they would send someone out the next day to clean it. Nobody showed up. Trash dumpster was left overflowing out side and garage was loaded with boxes filled with trash. Walls, ceilings and entry door had numerous damaged areas. The 4th “bedroom” is not a bedroom but rather a bed in the dining room separated from the kitchen by a hanging curtain. Needs to be a TV in each bedroom in case people want to get away from the common area. Hot water to master bathroom was minimal. Rugs on top of carpet in third floor bedroom interfere with door and create a tripping hazard because edges are rolled and not flat. Garage entry is very narrow. We had rented a mid-sized SUV to carry all six of us and even with mirrors folded in we had less than 1” clearance on either side. With no street parking this would have been a major problem if we had gotten the larger vehicle.

The problem that I had with the property that I stayed at was the air conditioner. The house was extremely hot and then the next day the house was extremely cold because the air conditioner didn't work

This was a terrible experience. The place is brand new and pics online look awesome. However the place smelled like pot the moment we walked in and all the windows were open trying to air it out. The sheets on all the beds smelled like pot so I'm sure they were not even washed. Ants all over the kitchen and bathrooms. Ant traps out. The infant crawling around found a fake fingernail on the floor and it looked like it wasn't even vacuumed. The only pan to cook with was dented in and the teflon coating all peeling off. Reached out to the host several times requesting a refund and she just kept saying it was in review. Finally called Vrbo to get a refund and they said that since the stay was over the host needed to refund us which they declined. This is definitely not a family friendly place. Also very unsafe neighborhood for a family.
