Great location. Great views. Great house. Great customer service from the team. If I have to pick one thing to improve it would only be that the listing says hot tub- but it’s not working. It does say it in the fine print but the title is misleading. But I would stay here again and would recommend this place to others.

The house was in general, beautiful. There are a lot of stairs which are accurately shown in the photos. It was overall clean with the exception of noticeable stains in two of the bedrooms that could use a good cleaning. My kids loved having a fire at night in the fire pit and they absolutely loved looking for fish over the dock! It’s a great location!We were happy with the home overall but there are a few areas that could be improved upon:1). The title of the listing should remove ‘hot tub’ until the hot tub is replaced and open for guest use. While it says the hot tub can’t be used at this time in the body of the property description, most people will look at the title and assume it can be used. 2). The ‘beach’ could use updating and doesn’t really look like the photo that is shown. 3). The listing implies a pontoon rental is possible through the listing. However, when we inquired, we were given the name of a boat rental company that no longer offers rentals. With that said, Avantstay was extremely responsive and were great hosts.

Beautiful view, lots of outdoor space, beds for everyone, close to grocery and restaurants, really an ideal spot for a small family gathering. The one issue was the autistics of the house. It was impossible to be in the main area and not wake others, whether late at night or early morning. Regardless, we would absolutely stay again.

Perfect Staycation

I stayed here for 3 nights with my family (7 adults, 2 kids and a baby) and we couldn't have asked for a better property. It's exactly as pictured and described - spacious, clean, beautiful location. We were amazed at how well stocked the house is - probably the best stocked house I've ever rented. The property management company was also extremely easy to communicate with via email and text. We only used the paddleboat and kayaks once. Overall, we couldn't have asked for more!

Great Staycation on the Lake

Had a wonderful time at Butler Bliss! The views from the house are amazing and the outside areas of the house are cozy and relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub, lake toys, and dock access. Just the right number of rooms for us. Would stay again for sure!

Fantastic Getaway Location

This property was everything we wanted and then some. Great place for old friends to get together for a long weekend. This was our first time at Lake Norman and it will not be our last thanks to Butler Bliss!

The house has a great open floor plan and living area. The back patio is perfect for relaxing with friends and family. The dock is a great and has incredible views of the cove.

Butler Bliss

House was very clean and in a great location. Norman lake is wonderful and the family enjoyed swimming at the dock. Wouldn’t recommend for small children with the number/type of steps in the house and grounds. Dishwasher wasn’t working well, maybe filter is clogged but food was just redeposited and the land scape lighting (lower half out to the dock) was not lighting. It would help to have a copy of the quick start guide to understand the controls to the hot tub.

Fantastic fourth

What a great place to stay with a group of friends over the Fourth of July! The check in/out process was easy and straightforward. The boat rental was so accommodating even when we decided the day of check in to rent it for our stay. The house was exactly as expected and so clean. Really awesome property!

Great weekend at the Lake!

This house was everything you needed for a relaxing and fun weekend on the Lake. Really interesting design to the house with massive backyard. Host was great to work with and they made the boat rental process a breeze too!

30th birthday weekend!

This house was so incredible!! It was super clean and very spacious! We loved having access to the lake and some water sports! The host was so nice and accommodating! We had a little propane when we arrived but when messaging the host they came and brought us full tanks! Looking forward to staying here again!

Great location and beautiful house!

House is in a great location and overall we had a great time. The stairs can be challenging for little ones and elderly. We were disappointed that the hot tub and the gas fireplace were not working during our stay. When we arrived at 4 pm the cleaning staff was just finishing and might have felt rushed. There were things in the house that was not cleaned, but we stiff had a great time and look forward to going back to Lake Norman.
