Recent guest reviews

I have to say that after reading the reviews I was afraid of what I was going to find. We stayed there 2 nights and I did not see prostitution or drug related issues as I read, however on our first night kids woke me up at 2:30 in the morning. They were playing on the hallways, laughing and screaming. On our second night our room was not cleaned, no garbage was taken out and no clean towels were provided. My boyfriend went to get breakfast and all you get is bite size muffins and coffee.

Very basic. Wifi doesn't work at all and when guest are arriving at night they are super loud and you can hear everything.

Good for a quick stay over while traveling to your final destination

I forgot to ask for a no smoking room. When I got off the elevator, all I smelled was cigarette smoke. In the room was the smell of smoke of ashtrays. I quickly went back downstairs and asked if any non-smoking rooms were available. I was told they were full. The front desk representative offered to transfer my room, but I was really tired. I asked for spray. The representative offered to go up and spray the room for me. I appreciated that. I went out with my husband to bring in our luggage. When I got back upstairs, through the hall was still awful, the room was acceptable. I thought I would be all right and not have an asthma attack.

The hotel is a bit musty, although some rooms have been renovated which will make a big difference. A lot of smoking rooms which permeates into the hallways. Check in had only one person on staff and took 30 minutes due to the line. But it is very affordable and will due if just passing through.

Nice hotel, but as the name says extended stay. Not what you want for one or two nights. No maid service until your 8th day. Have to exchange your own towels. No clock, no pen, no paper, no phonebook, no ice machine or ice bucket. You have to ask for all kitchen items. The room is empty of all these things.

The stay was very comfortable and my room was very clean I didn't like that my amenities wasn't in my room when I arrived but otherwise a good stay

Overall the room and hotel were decent, but I could hear every step of the person above me walking around. There was no exercise room, I was a little bummed about that, but not the end of the world. But what really surprised me was they didn't even have a business office (I just wanted to print out my boarding passes for my flight the next day). Oh and my room lost power on my last night there, but I'm sure that was just a fluke. This place is fine if you just need a room, but don't expect any more than that.

This is our favorite place to stay when in Charlotte, NC. It is very clean and the staff makes you feel good with their smiles and friendliness. I would not hesitate to stay here again and will the next time in Charlotte.

We found the hotel only had regular coffee in room , no decaff and my husband could only drink decaff. The pillows were very small, so we asked if they had two more we could get and if we could have some decaff coffee. They said they would try to get both of these, but they never were able to bring us any. We would not stay there again. We could have gotten more for our money elsewhere.

The whole experiece was ok, just nothing very special. First, there was no one at the desk, I waited, finally had to call the posted number. I never saw anyone at the front desk after check in, until morning. The room was a normal size motel room, described as a 'studio'. It had a kitchenette with a coffee maker, I pack of coffee, cream, sweetner and sugar packets. The room reminded me of motel room from the 70's. There was a small screen TV and no shampoo, etc. Only the bars of soap. In fairness, the room was about the lowest rate around, so , perhaps one got what they paid for. They neighborhood was strip mall adjoining residential, and it seemed very quiet and safe Honestly, I just expected more from Extended Stay America.
