The property had a great location: walk to beach, walk to sunset, walk to downtown Charlevoix. The house was clean and very well provisioned. We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and the grill and fire pit in the backyard. The neighborhood is tranquil. Our host even made an evening house call to solve a minor cable TV issue. This is a lovely house in a wonderful location, rent with confidence.

We had an incredible week at this wonderful property! The house had everything we needed. We cooked some meals and found the kitchen well stocked and easy to work in. Loved the extra space provided by the retro table and chairs. The property is also a very easy walk into downtown, Lake Michigan, and Lake Charlevoix. The hosts graciously accepted our large dog who greatly enjoyed the space in the fenced backyard. And we loved the multiple seating options and large table in the yard. The host provided timely and clear directions and responded quickly to any of our communications. Thanks again for sharing your home!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was located in a beautiful neighborhood with a short walk to the beach and downtown. The backyard was also great for our children and dogs. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed, with plenty of space. Frank the owner was extremely responsive. We definitely hope to come back!

Great little cottage!

Overall the cottage was just what we needed for our stay in Charlevoix. It was very clean and well furnished. The property owner was very easy to communicate with and helped us with our stay. The location is perfect.....an easy five minute walk to a beautiful beach and a 15 minute walk to town. We had a great vacation!

Great Stay in Charlevoix

We had a great weekend staying here, the house was very clean, and the photos are all accurate. Frank was so communicative! The house had everything we needed. Great location, not far from downtown and very nice and quiet. The yard was great for our dog. Would highly recommend!

Great location and cute house!

This house was very clean and had lots of household items and beach essentials to make our stay very easy. Large fenced in yard which is great if you bring your dog! Great location…close to downtown and a beach access! The only downside was the 1st floor room and bathroom size but we made it work. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic Location!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. We prefer the Northside of Charlevoix, and this location allowed easy walking access to downtown and Lake Michigan beaches. The upstairs bedrooms did get a bit hot, but easily solved with a fan. The backyard is lovely. The hosts also had beach chairs and amenities for use if needed. Frank was quick to communicate and overall we had a great stay.

Cozy house close to beach and town

We had a lovely stay in Charlevoix. The owners Frank and Sally Campi were super easy to work with. The house is a charming Cape Cod type house a few blocks from the Lake Michigan shore. Nice big fenced backyard which was great for our dog. The layout worked well for a trip with adult children. They could have the upper floor and my husband and I took the bedroom downstairs Only caveat is that the downstairs bedroom is on the small side. The owners are very thoughtful and if you realized you needed it, they had probably thought to provide it. Big help to us were that beach chairs and beach towels were available to use so we didn't have to bring those. We enjoyed playing corn hole in the yard, walking down to the beach. We did walk into town, but if we were planning on doing a lot of walking in town, we would drive and park. All in all a lovely stay!

Second time staying here, July 2024

Stayed at this same house last year with my wife and two teens. Very clean, cozy, with nice amenities, and great location in quiet little neighborhood. Always excellent communication from the property owner. Very pleasant half mile walk to downtown Charlevoix. Five minute walk to public beach access on Lake Michigan. Only 20-25 minute drive to Petosky (or 2.5 hour round trip by bike on paved path). Had a great time, would stay again.

Fantastic house and location!

Stayed here for a girls trip and the house is wonderful! Such an easy, beautiful walk downtown and to the beach. You can’t beat the location of this home! And the home is very welcoming, comfortable and has a nice backyard. We will definitely be back!

Great Cottage!

We stayed here with our 9 month old, had a great time! The house is close to downtown, in a nice quiet neighborhood. The yard is beautiful, lots of nice space for our dog to run around :)

Felt like home

We booked this for a wedding we were attending. It was centrally located between the church and the reception. We were walking distance from the downtown Apple Festival. The owners had great communication and asked whether we needed anything. We would definitely stay there again.
