Very tight patking area. Couch was very uncomfortable. Will be quite some time before fhis neighborhood is tourist ready because of redevelopment. Construction noise was disruptive.

Sadly the description regarding the property was very misleading, although it stated construction near by, this was major demolition which started at4:45am literally shaking the entire building. There were cranes and jackhammers and every conceivable demolition noise our entire stay. This construction prohibited us from being able to walk to King street or any other areas.

Check in and check out was smooth. House is very charming! Extremely clean and comfortable! Owner is very quick to respond and friendly. Would definitely recommend. Close to all things down town and only 18 minutes from sullivan’s island beach.

We Loved our stay. Be aware, if you are driving a large vehicle, the driveway is intimidating, however you got it! Perfect for our family of 5 attending The Shipyard for baseball. We walked to several places nearby for dinner and dessert.

Explored Charleston with Friends

We had a great time and a great stay. Location was about a half block from King Street so walked most everywhere. Only complaint at this time was the construction noted by others, but not much the owners can do. The sound machines were a great thought and somewhat helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Stay in Charleston

Vaca rental was relatively close to visitors center. Kitchen was well stocked. We didn’t spend much time in the rental because of seeing the town, but when there the furniture was not the most comfortable and the up and coming area was a little rough. Large vehicles will experience problems.

Not What Was Expected

The property itself was ok and was very convenient to King Street; however, the writeup online did not warn of us the abandoned, scary looking buildings right next door nor about the 1 a.m. daily emptying of the dumpsters that were being used for all the construction going on next door and across the street. Additionally, some of the towels were dirty and the downstairs shower would shoot cold water intermittently while showing and the upstairs shower gathered water in the basin when taking a shower.

Not Senior Friendly

The internet said it was good for 5 people but the kitchen only had 3 chairs and no folding chairs to try and accommodate seating. The driveway is a nightmare and our parking spot was so difficult to get in and out. The neighborhood is under extreme construction and the noise was constant.

Weekend Getaway

The communication leading up to and during our stay was exceptional. The property is situated a little bit north of all the shopping and restaurants on King, but the weather was perfect and the walk was extremely manageable. In addition, it is very close to Leon's and some other eats. The only comment is that there is currently a decent bit of construction right around the property but was not a big deal at all during the weekends (some minor noise on the weekday mornings but the noise makers in each room drowned most of it out). Overall, a great property and experience!

Charming, wonderful find!!!

What a cute and comfortable find!!! We stayed with friends and loved the charm of the house! We were able to walk to all of the locations we wanted. We didn’t have a car although there was a place to park if needed. The place was very clean and the beds comfortable. Our hosts were super attentive and very accommodating. We all agreed that we’d love to come back to Charleston and we would stay here again. Thank you!!!
