Had a very good time. It was a great place - easy enough to drive out of town and an easy walk to downtown-just a perfect location.

Very nice hotel close to all the restaurants and sites in the historic district. Only complaint was that the bed was lumpy. Very nice staff.

The room we were given was very noisy. The carpet was very filthy with stains all over it and scuffs all over the wall. I called the front desk and asked if it was a special room and they said no I said The carpet and walls were filthy and they said they would make a note of it. the next day I went and talked with the supervisor and he said he didn't want to see the room and he would make a note of it. There was not one apology and no one wanted to be bothered. The room was $350 for one night and definitely not worth it.

We had a wonderful time in Charleston. The hotel's location was very convenient. The room was very clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was truly great. We had a fantastic time and it is close to everything. King st. and all :)

The hotel's location is very convenient to downtown Charleston and especially the College of Charleston. We were there for college orientation, and it was about a 5 minute walk to campus. Parking is limited, and the on duty officer was wonderful and patient as he guided me into a tiny parking place. Once parked, my car wasn't needed again.

Excellent location very close to all downtown activity.Parking was an issue. The overflow parking lot is across a very busy street. The rooms were very clean and the hotel staff was very friendly.

Hotel was nice but not worth the price. Of they raised their prices during Valentines weekend which is yet another reason the hotel was way over priced.

Location is excellent, all the good stuff is within walking distance. A little expensive for what they offer, but it is Charleston and again u can walk anywhere downtown.

We stayed at the Courtyard for a two night visit to Charleston, SC on business and for a quick mid-summer sightseeing. The Concierge Kevin McQuade is Great and can provide lots of assistance and knowledge about what you should do and where you should go in the city. The hotel was very nice, comfortable and clean, located next to Meeting Street and about a 2 blocks from King Street. The Hotel is north of the main district and about 10 minute walk from the main tourist areas and about 25 minute walk to the Edmondston-Alston House by the tip of Charleston. There is on-site parking for $18.00 a day. There is a small pool, Starbucks and a Bar at the hotel. Price wise the Hotel was OK.

Hotel was very nice. Loved having a balcony. The staff was friendly. My only problem was the elevators took a long time and could not find any stair way to take. Also, the parking needs to be addressed. There was parking adjacent to the hotel and some overflow parking across the street (needed to cross a fairly busy road). We had to park in this overflow section, but saw employees going to cars in the adjacent lots. You would think the hotel would have the employees park in the overflow lot and leave the closer spots for the guests especially considering the guest are carrying suitcases/baggage.

Truly enjoyed our long weekend here! Great location for getting to all the great places in downtown historic Charleston. Staff was helpful and congenial.

Enjoyed the hotel. Great location. The staff wS quite helpful with what to do and where to go.

The hotel itself was very nice. The room was very clean and well decorated. The bed was a little softer than we would like, but OK. You do get charged for parking, but no problems with the self parking. The hotel is approximately one mile from the main downtown area of Charleston. No problem for us. If you want something closer the price goes up. Breakfast is a charge. The only two complaints. A small one: most hotels have free coffee for guests even when they have a restaurant. They did not. It was a charge. Come on guy! The big one was the concierge service. They had a big sign in your room about why you should use their concierge. We just had a simple question of a few seafood restaurant recommendations. I waited a few minutes for the first guest to finish. Then the next person. After a while I stood up and she noticed me. She said she would be a while. The guest was scheduling her whole week out? I told her I had a quick question on seafood restaurants. She shoved a few menus at me and said look at these. Waiting a while longer. Finally just looked up restaurant on my phone. I questioned if you have to make an appointment?? Not impressed with a service they advertise.

Courtyard Charleston Historic District Marriott! Perfect in everyway! Location, rooms excellant in everyway! Would highly recomend this property for its ease to get around the city. THe free trolly stop just around the corner made it perfect!

The staff was very welcoming and pleasant. They recommended a restaurant for the evening that was a short and nice walking distance away. We were right at the historic district and really enjoyed an early morning walk around town prior to the embarking process. Very good overall experience that worked well for us.

This hotel is located just north of the main historic district's 19th century homes. It's easily within walking distance of the best sights, shopping, and restaurants. The accommodations are very nice, and the price is about half of comparable places in the center of the older homes. The concierge was very helpful in recommending and securing reservations at several great restaurants.

This was a great visit to Charleston as always. The room was spacious and very clean. I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is walking distance to King St. (Shopping and dining), Meeting St, Market Square, and the French Quarter. It was a very pleasurable stay and I would stay there again. The value was outstanding.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were great.
