House for a crowd!

The house was beautiful with lots of open space for a crowd to gather and enjoy time spent together! The outdoor space, game room and garage area was also great to use. And plenty of space for everyone to sleep. While we didn’t have children with us for this visit the bunk and treasure hunt would be a lasting memory for your little ones!!

The Pearl At Grand Lake

We loved this property! Very family-friendly with a treasure hunt my granddaughter adored!! (Just for information, all bedrooms are upstairs for those who are challenged by stairs.) Kitchen is well stocked with pans, utensils, and serveware. Bring spices only, all else is provided. Sparkling clean and beautifully decorated with a new hot tub. Hosts are outstanding, none better. You will not regret renting this property. A

Hidden Gem

Communication with the owner - always a pleasant exchange. The owner was quick to respond with any questions we had. Property itself - large, clean and nicely kept - met our needs as a group of 6 adult girlfriends. We were just there in mid-September and the weather was in the high 80's with low humidity. The pool is not heated but the water warmed up enough that we were able to enjoy it all weekend. The family room area with the TV had comfortable furniture and there was plenty of room to play games, etc. We would recommend this property to others for sure. Suggestions for renters: Pick up ice along the way. You may want to bring extra solo cups or tumblers. There are some trash bags provided but the owner had told us that some renters have found it helpful to bring extra. Do not lock the front door deadbolt at any time or you will not be able to get back in using the assigned code.

Fantastic Family Vacation

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay. Our group consisted of my wife and I, our 3 children and their spouses, and 4 grandkids ages 6 months, 2, 4, and 17. My 95 year old father and my 92 year old mother-in-law both live within 30 minutes from house, so they joined us for a few hours in which they got to watch their great grandkids. My brother and sister and 3 children joined us one evening. There was plenty of chairs for all outdoors, and also in the large living room and dining room. My wife is 1 of 14 children, so we did not invite them to the house. Instead we rented a shelter house in Eastview park in Celina for $40 for the entire day. It is only 5 minutes away and it has very nice play structures and an obstacle course. The house was very spacious and has a great open design in the living area and kitchen. Two large tables were great as we could all enjoy meals together or play games. The beds were all very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water with good water pressure for showers. The refrigerator and freezer were very big. The swimming pool was smaller than I expected, but it was actually large enough for our needs. Water temp was a little cool as you entered, but once you entered, everything was fine. We also enjoyed some pool toys and the ping pong table. We also used the BBQ grill which was very nice and clean. The entire house was clean. Communication with owner was great. We are already talking about returning next year.

Family trip

We enjoyed our family trip at this property. The house was very clean and close to the lake, restaurants, golf courses, etc. Katie was very helpful with questions leading up to the trip and during the trip. We would definitely book this house again.

Family Getaway

We recently stayed 3 nights at this property. The home was very clean and I am super picky about that! Everyone joked that it met my "clean" standards. Area was very quiet and nice view of the lake. Kids loved the games. Patio area was very nice. The pool is very small so if you have a larger group it is more of a dipping pool I would say, but it was enough for the kids and they still enjoyed it. They also loved the scavenger hunt. Quick easy access to town for shopping, groceries, boat rental, etc.

Last minute getaway

Booked this beautiful home last minute for my kiddos to celebrate the end of the school year! The home was absolutely gorgeous. We felt right at home. My kids lived in the pool and when it was raining we played games and did the treasure hunt ! This is our second property of the host that we have stayed at and they are both just perfect! We already can’t wait for our next visit.

Fun and relaxing getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at The Pearl! Loved relaxing in the pool, playing ping pong and taking morning and evening walks along the lake. Katie had great suggestions of local places to visit (Hazelnut Coffee House was our favorite!), and she was super quick to answer any questions. The house had plenty of space and everything we needed for a great getaway...and, the beds were super comfortable! We really enjoyed our trip!

A wonderful experience

This house served as an ideal venue for a three-night family get together with five adults and four children (ages 1 to 6). It was clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable with views of the lake. A playroom with toys provided fun for the kids, and the in-house treasure hunt delighted both kids and adults. It is a pleasant walk to nearby Harbor Point State Park. The host, Katie, was incredibly prompt in responding to all my questions and offered helpful local suggestions, including for Bryson Park District, where the playground provided great entertainment and exercise for the kids. Overall, the property and host were excellent and contributed to a wonderful stay.

All I can say is WOW!

Honestly, I wish I could tell you this was terrible so I can keep this location to myself BUT I CAN'T LIE. It was WONDERFUL!! Katie was an amazing host, communicating regularly when needed and making sure we had every amenity we could and then some. The home met every need, with cleanliness, layout, "extras" and even an awesome "treasure hunt". Katie provided some ideas for what to do in the area, where to eat and made sure she answered all of our questions. Check in and check out were seamless, the beds were like sleeping on a cloud and if you have little ones (we didn't) you'll appreciate the toys and activities just for them. What are you waiting for? Book it!!
