Delightful apartment with direct access to the sea

The Sweet house of the flowers is the ideal place for those who want to spend a holiday period in a comfortable apartment, carefully furnished and very welcoming. The apartment is located inside a residence surrounded by the typical vegetation of the Mediterranean scrub which offers a unique panorama of the gulf and the Rocca di Cefalù where in the evening you can admire splendid sunsets in a suggestive setting. Inside the residence there is a hydromassage tub with solarium available to guests from June to September. Through a comfortable pedestrian path, which makes space among the olive trees, the guest is accompanied to the large beach below, where in addition to the free one, for the more demanding, there are two beaches equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas which make the stay more comfortable . The sea water is clear and crystalline. It is possible to reach the market, the tobacconist bar and two welcoming restaurants and pizzeria on foot. The historic center of Cefalù is about 5 km away and can be reached by public transport at set times or by taxi at an approximate cost of around 18.00 euros. It is close to other centers of tourist interest such as the sanctuary of Gibilmanna, Castelbuono, the Madonie adventure park, Santo Stefano di Camastra famous for the production of hand-decorated ceramics etc.

Just beautiful

Shabby by the sea was the description used to describe this flat and it was a perfect description really. The outside of the apartments needed a good lick of paint though general upgrade work did seem to have started but the gardens, pool and general area were very well maintained and clean and tidy. The apartment itself is very well presented comfortable but small especially the kitchen but it was functional with oven, hob and lots of crockery and utensils. The main bedroom was spacious but the second bedroom had just 2 single beds but no room for lockers etc so more suited to a couple or else a couple with young children. There is access to the pebble beach below but this maybe difficult for less mobile people as there are quite a few steps to get there. But it really doesn't matter because you would stay here for the incredible beautiful views of the coastline, the vivid blue sea and the feeling that you were staying in a 5 star penthouse with exclusive views that only you got to see. This is where you would go for a romantic holiday where you can sit at the dining room table and view the sun going down being La Rocca in Cefalu. All the photos are there in the apartment description but they just do not do convey the sheer beauty of this area. Cefalu is about 10 mins drive away so the location is excellence and I cannot praise the owner Pietro enough. The extras like the wine, cakes drinks etc were all appreciated and when we did have an issue with the internet it was sorted within 5 minutes of contacting him. This has been such a relaxing enjoyable holiday and I would highly recommend staying here, you won't regret it.
