This is one of my favorite places to stay on the island. The property is maintained great, you have everything you need, plus complimentary bikes (which most places charge for). Ben & Aria are wonderful hosts and Tito the dog is the best. As a solo female traveler I always feel safe and comfortable here! See you guys again soon!

Loved being away from the crowds and noise. The Dreaded Grape was clean and has everything you need. Comfortable bed, hot shower, TV, fast internet, and a kitchenette if you want to cook. Easy to walk around the island. We were also close enough to walk to airport with our luggage when we headed home.

Comfortable room worth the money with everything we'd liked about the listing. There was an unfortunate issue with the plumbing but the manager was communicative about it. Good discount option for people seeking a home base without paying resort prices

100% recommend this property and The Dreaded Grape Cabina specifically. Ben the host was great and communicative, the property was in a great location, and attention was paid to every detail. We will return here.

Extended stay

Great place to stay and relax,owner was on property and available for local information when needed. Would definitely check on availability when we return to Caye Chauker .

Eclectic, charming cabana & property. Ben, the host, was so friendly & helpful. We loved the laidback vibe & close proximity to both town & a pretty stretch of beach. Highly recommend!

After staying at Gumbo Limbo for a week I cannot recommend it enough! Ben, Aria, and Flora were so quick to answer questions and made sure our stay was comfortable from beginning to end. Also, the property is super cute. If you’re going to Caye Caulker- stay here!!

Ben was such a great host and we felt so comfortable. The bungalow is relaxing, clean, and quiet. The bed is soft and cozy. The bikes were a major plus, as this was our preferred mode of transport. Thanks you for a great stay hope to be back again.

A wonderful couple of days in paradise.

The communication and check in process was great, as well as the property being as described and away from the main drag on front street. The 2 dogs were very friendly. Ben was incredibly responsible when there was a minor issue with the lock on the door and it was fixed and addressed faster than any hotel could be. 10/10 will be staying here next time we visit the island.

Excellent Property

My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gumbo Limbo Dreaded Grapes. It was exactly what we needed for the two of us during our trip. It had a great location, was very clean, and Ben and Aria were very friendly and helpful any time we had questions. I would highly recommend to book with them!

Our stay here was fantastic! The property was clean, comfortable and cute. Communication was very good. Having free use of the bikes was a huge advantage to our stay. Information about the island provided by the owners was very helpful. I highly recommend this property for your stay.

No Bad Days at Gumbo Limbo

This was our second time staying at Gumbo Limbo. Ben and Aria are attentive and wonderful hosts. The location is perfect for us. Close enough to the action and far enough away to relax. We always recommend Gumbo Limbo to our friends.

The Dreaded Grape

Gumbo Limbo was a perfect oasis on Caye Caulker. Ben and Aria are the perfect hosts and were super helpful throughout our entire stay. With steps from the beach the location is perfect for all access to where you want to go on the island. Thank you for making our stay on the island so enjoyable, Ben and Aria!

Our stay at The Dreaded Grape was excellent! We only wished it could have been longer. We arrived several hours before our check-in time and were greeted by Ben, who was extremely accommodating, allowing us to store our luggage in the room for safe-keeping until check-in time. He also graciously allowed us to take the bikes out to explore the island while we waited. The bikes were such an added bonus and gave us freedom to go everywhere on the island in short time. With baskets on the bikes, it was easy to carry what we needed for the beach, etc.. The room itself was very clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. The air conditioning was efficient and the bed was comfortable. We really appreciated the drinking water and safe, as well. The property itself was clean, beautifully treed and quiet. Even the neighbors were quiet. Although we didn't see our hosts much, Ben was always quick to respond whenever we messaged him with a question. On our last day, we used the number provided in the information binder to contact a taxi to help us get to the ferry with our luggage. Peter (taxi driver) also responded quickly and showed up 10 minutes early. We would definitely return if/when we visit the island again.
