Part of a renovated marble mill, located within an idyllic valley with the river gently meandering past, La Riviere offers an oasis of calm & tranquillity with it’s historic Roman Bridge, gloriously coloured cliffs sitting in the foothills to the stunning black mountains. Nature is abundant with native trees providing shade across the 4 acres of grounds & the shared swimming pool. Built around an ancient Marble Mill it is the perfect location for those who want to simply unwind & relax or for those looking for a great base to explore the region with its pretty villages & markets, lakes and rivers, the picturesque Canal du Midi, historic Cathar castles, fantastic local wine Domains or beautiful Mediterranean beaches all no more than an hour away.

Great spot!

Lovely few days in this gîte a short walk from the picturesque town of Caunes-Minervois. Mike and Tanya were really friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful setting with a great pool... just what we needed!
