Romantic and cozy detached cottage located at the edge of an ancient rural hamlet in the green countryside just west of Siena.
Gelsomino is proposed as a welcoming holiday home ideal for couples and small families wishing to enjoy a wonderful holiday in the very heart of Tuscany.
In the private garden that surrounds the cottage, there are pleasant corners where you can grill, eat al fresco, read a good book in the shade of the big oak tree, or simply delight the eye while admiring the beautiful views of the surrounding hills.
In the hamlet, of which Gelsomino is part, guests have at their disposal a large, panoramic swimming pool (7x14 meters, depth 1.40, available from 1st May to 30th September) shared with some other accommodations offered in the hamlet.
The interiors, furnished with great love for detail, and equipped with all modern comforts, are very charming and putting guests immediately at ease.
The accommodation is on the ground floor and consists of a spacious living/dining room with fireplace, sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchenette with direct access to the furnished terrace and garden; 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
Gelsomino is located in a strategic position, ideal for visiting the most important art centers of the region, the renowned wineries in the Chianti, spa resorts, and sandy beaches, all easily reachable within 30 - 90 minutes by car.
The nearest village with basic services (grocery shop, bar, restaurant, pharmacy) is 3,5 km away.
There also are 2 dining options offering local specialties at approx 2 km, and with other excellent restaurants within a radius of 5 km.

Heerlijk huis in het echte Toscane
Wij hebben 10 dagen genoten met ons gezin. Onze kinderen van 18 en 15 hadden ook goede WiFi wat op deze leeftijd erg belangrijk is haha. Het zwembad was heerlijk koel en heel ruim. Elke ochtend even baantjes gezwommen. De huisjes op het terrein zijn van allemaal verschillende eigenaren. Je hebt daarom bij het zwembad ook echt je eigen 2 bedjes met 2 stoeltjes en geen tafeltje. Rondom ons huisje waren meerdere zitplekken om te liggen of zitten. Een airconditioning had wel fijn geweest maar er stonden gelukkig 2 grote ventilatoren.

Romantisches Steinhaus
Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr schön und ruhig. Der Gemeinschaftspool war prima und sehr sauber. Man sollte allerdings an Mückenspray denken.

Wonderful Family Holiday
This was the perfect place for a quiet and peaceful family holiday in beautiful Tuscany. The cottage was very well equipped, the pool very clean and a great size. We loved the quiet and secluded location but still walking distance to some nice little cafes and a wonderful wine tasting experience. Would highly recommend this property.

Das Häuschen hat alles was man braucht.Pool war sehr sauber, es sind jedoch Ruhezeiten am Pool von 14.00-16.00 einzuhalten und es ist keine Nutzung des Pools nach 21.00 möglich.
Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden,auch wenn während unseres Aufenthaltes weder Geschirrspüler noch Waschmaschine nutzbar war.Agentur und Inhaberin waren zwar bemüht,was uns letztendlich aber in der Zeit in der wir dort waren nichts gebracht hat.

Owners were very accommodating.
All was a good experience. The only regret was that the pool was closed. It had been advertised that the pool would be open. We had nice weather for our stay and would have enjoyed the pool.

Nettes kleines Haus in schöner Gegend
Nettes, kleines Ferienhaus in sehr ruhiger, ländlicher und schöner Gegend in der Toskana. Toller Pool.
Eignet sich auch gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Volterra, Siena, Florenz, Pisa oder ans Meer, wenn man bereit ist mit dem Auto zu fahren.

sejour calme et agréable
Notre séjour était très bien et agréable. La maison était bien située pour visiter la Toscane. Par contre, la wifi n'était pas dans la maison, ce qui peut poser problème. Il faudrait le précisr dans l'annonce.
