Treat your family to a lakefront adventure at this 3-bedroom, 3-bath Caryville vacation rental. With additional loft space, ‘Sapphire Cottage’ has room for the whole crew! Enjoy backyard access to Norris Lake, a private dock with a slide, and a furnished deck and patio. Your getaway will be filled with fun water activities as this property is only a few steps away from land to water. Rent a boat to cruise around the lake, explore the outdoors at Cove Lake State Park, or enjoy a family barbeque!

Whether you want to enjoy majestic Norris Lake or you want to explore the acres of nearby ATV off-roading, this home is in a convenient location for a getaway anytime throughout the year.
This beautiful lakefront cottage, just a few miles off of I-75, is ideal for family trips. With 1600 square feet of living space, featuring 3 bedrooms, large loft, and 3 full bathrooms, there is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy your cozy cottage.

When you enter on the main level, easily just a few steps, you will be greeted with a dining area to the left and kitchen to the right! On the main level there is also a bedroom with a queen size bed, as well as a full bathroom with a tub/shower. There is also some cozy common space to enjoy a tv show or two! The couch in this common space folds down into a full-size bed! There is access to a nice sized patio on the main level that serves as a great space to expand and dine!

On the upper level, you will find an open loft with two queen size bed, and some bean bag chairs ready to play some board games! You will also find a bedroom with a king size bed, as well as a full bathroom with a shower.

On the lower level, there is more common space to hang out and watch some tv or grab a game and enjoy the high-top seating area! This level also has a bedroom with a queen bed, as well as a full bathroom with a shower. On this lower level is where you will find the laundry room that also has a commercial sized ice machine in it! So, fill up those coolers and enjoy a day on the lake! The lower level also has access to an outdoor patio that has plenty of space to enjoy! It is covered in case a pop-up shower decides to wash things up! There is also a gas grill on this level. propane is provided!

If you want to be closer to the water, you can congregate at the fire ring! Bring your own firewood and enjoy a beautiful evening by the lake!

The dock can be easily accessed down some steps at a gentle incline. THERE ARE NOT A LOT OF STEPS TO THE LAKE! The covered dock has space for one boat. The swim deck has a picnic table on it, so relax right by the water. The house is on a channel and you can take a swim right off the swim platform that also has a slide for all ages! Please keep in mind this is NOT IN A "NO WAKE ZONE". If fishing is your thing, bring a pole! You are able to fish right off the dock!

We have parking for about 5 cars. Trailers are allowed, you may have to unhitch and park them in the grass.

You are only approx. 17 miles (one exit north on I-75) from Royal Blue or approx. 28 miles from Windrock Park for acres of off road fun! Enjoy shopping, shows, and other attractions in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge which are only about 1.5 hours away and makes for a great day trip.
High speed wireless internet is also included.

This is a non-smoking home, no pets, and minimum age of 25 years for renter responsibility.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy lake cottage. The setting was peaceful, the renovations tasteful, and the patio fernishings, firepit, and kayaks made for great family outdoor time. The kitchen was better stocked than expected, and the labeled light switches were a thoughtful touch. The dedicated ice maker is nice bonus if you spend a day on the lake. The host responded quickly to the few small issues we had. Just be prepared for stairs — it’s three levels — and bring your own extra paper goods and trash bags, which surprised us as first-time VRBO guests.

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was perfect for us. The dock is perfect and the area was quiet. The cottage was comfortable and had all of the necessary amenities. The ice maker was an added bonus! Listen to the directions and do not try and take a boat to the house. It's easiest to launch it at the public boat launch which is close to the house by car and water (maybe about 12 min by car and about the same or a tad less by boat).

Great weekend at the Lake

This place was great! There are 3 levels with 3 bedrooms, a loft with beds and 2 common areas. It also had a porch and covered area underneath. A gas grill and firepit. Fully stocked kitchen (no d/w). And great views of the lake. Large dock to swim off of or fish. And a place to keep ur boat (covered). Easy check in and out and great communication. Close to interstate exit, food options and close to twin cove Marina. Would stay here again for sure!

We loved the cottage. Cottage has been totally remodeled and everything was new. Kitchen well stocked (no dishwasher but that was no big deal). Beds were comfortable and the decks were nice. Small slope down to the lake which was great. The dock was all new with a slide. Loved the location close to Twin Cove Marina. We put our boat in at Ray Wilson public ramp which was close and easy to use. Owners were great to work with. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the second year in a row we've stayed there with our family. There's 11 of us in total. We come to Norris every year for our family vacation. The closeness to the water is so nice, very minimal steps. House is clean and well furnished. Love sitting on the deck but even nicer to sit on the lower patio with cool breeze from ceiling fans. The ice machine is wonderful. Saved us so much money in ice for coolers. The dock is practically new, added kayaks. The kids loved kayaking. The steps into the water, the water slide, slips, picnic table made it a great place for the family to hang out. We loved our stay at "The Blue House" as the grandkids call it. We hated to leave. We hope to be back next year.

Nice lake vacation

This home is great for a lake vacation. It’s located at the end of a narrow drive but does have a boat dock for your own boat. Easy to launch at a nearby marina. Swimming right off the dock for the kids was a highlight. The water is deep, a slide is also on the dock. We did bring lounge chairs. There is a picnic table on the dock. Multiple level home with steps to upstairs and downstairs. Air cooling system worked great. Rent a boat nearby if you don’t have one to bring. We had kids ages 3-13 and they all loved jumping into the water. Very clean home. Well stocked kitchen. Could use more paper products (TP, Kleenex, garbage bags,). We did have to buy that for our group of 11. Beds ok but could use nicer pillows. Maybe a few more blankets. I would definitely stay here again though. We had prompt answers from owner when we sent messages. We did find it nice to have a commercial ice machine in the basement to fill coolers. Had an issue with the grill but they sent someone promptly to take care of it the very next morning.

Illinois family visit to Norris Lake

We just returned from our stay at this cute cottage. It was clean, well appointed and looked just like the pictures. We were very close to Twin Cove marina and rented a pontoon boat from there for the day. We had a lot of fun floating in the water and going down the slide. It was a convenient trip into town for all of our needs. We even traveled by car one day to check out some of the other marinas in the area. We will definitely be back.
