OK hotel

Small hotel/B+B close to the centre of Carmarthen. 15 mins walk from the railway station, little/no parking at the hotel but a cheap car park nearby. Good breakfast. I would describe it as nothing special but would use it again

Loved the consistent mid-century decor, very nostalgic. Get what you pay for, clean facilities, nice atmosphere, friendly hosts. Would've liked the twin beds next to eachother as I had no option for a double, but it's what we booked so no real complaint! Decent view out the back of the hills and churchyard. Pool table and communal area was lovely and well looked after. Short walk to highstreets and pubs, not too far walking from the train station.

From check in we were greeted warmly. As we were on a motorbike trip the offer of garage parking for the bikes was very much appreciated. This is a major plus for me. Breakfast was great. The retro feel of the place is all part of its natural charm. This is an individual family run guest house, not an anonymous chain. Well recommended.

As soon as we got there we was greeted with poor service and spoken to extremely rude upon seeing the roon we was absolutely disgusted as there was dust/dirt on everything the window was cracked and could easily cut someone themselfs and the room also had a fire door to escape which my four year old daughter tried to exit through. All in all was a terible experience will not go back there again.
