Good Place to stay in Artesia

Nice hotel in Artesia. A little bit of a glitch, we had reserved a handicapped accessible room with two beds (I was traveling with my 95 year old mother) and a roll in shower, but someone else had checked into that room several days earlier and never checked out. Guess they were hurting. They then asked if we'd take a handicapped accessible room with a tub, which we did as we were only staying one night. Decent continental breakfast in the a.m. Quiet. Nice hosts at check in.

Sheetrock around shower had previous water damaged and shabby patch work. That along with the toilet plumbing was rusted. Together, the bathroom felt dirty. Bed was springing, but not totally uncomfortable. Room felt clean. Good location. Friendly staff.

The hotel was very nice, loved the amenities it had (i.e. Pool, Gym, complimentary breakfast) The room I stayed in was very exquisite, spacious, and clean. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was perfect for my girlfriend and I. Will definitely stay here again
