An Ideal getaway

We saw the apartment on VRBO and immediately fell in love with the clean, modern aesthetic and the view of the citadel. We were not disappointed! The place is very convenient to transportation, for walking to the city or to the citadel. The apartment is very comfortable, with a roomy living/dining area, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and a luxurious bathroom. The view of the citadel through the huge living room windows really makes the place special, and the view was dramatic with winter fog and mist. In warmer months, it would be wonderful to throw open the sliding doors and lounge on the terrace. Pierre was a wonderful host, very helpful with answering questions and very quick to respond. Very nearby were several wonderful little food shops, and a number of cafes and restaurants. It's a perfect getaway for an easy trip, and Carcassone is wonderful to explore on foot.

Absolutely stunning

The reality was even better than the photographs! Perfectly equipped and located! Spectacular evenings spent on the patio. Like sitting inside a fairytale. Very quiet and totally private. Pierre is an excellent and caring host . Excellent communication before and during our stay. We will return!

Fabulous!

This apartment is beyond fabulous! Our stay in Carcassonne was made even more incredible with this fantastic house. We were able to enjoy the serenity of the community and take in the breathtaking views of the walled city from our amazing living room and balcony. We cooked gourmet meals in the modern kitchen and had lovely mornings with espresso and views. Pierre is a fantastic host and took great care of us in our stay. This is literally the BEST place in Carcassonne.

We had a fantastic stay here for our visit to Carcassonne. Superbly located. Everything inside the apartment looked brand new and was very well equipped. Pierre the owner was very welcoming and Very helpful. Also very quick in responding to any questions we had. Would highly recommend this beautiful appartement.
