We stayed 5 nights here in May. This was the end of our 3 week Africa tour. I booked two rooms, our adult children joined us. We had the best time. Absolutely best location in Cape Town and view of Table Mountain and waterfront. Staff went out of their way to take care of us. We celebrated our 34th anniversary during our stay. We were treated like royalty. Breakfast is excellent. Concierge booked several tours for us, printed info...Thid is the only place I would stay in Cape Town.

Hotel is located on a supperb area- right on waterfront- but the noice in incredible! All windows are simple and not double sided- so if you want a non noice room it will cost $100 more! Rooms are simple decorated and and old. I will no recommended the hotel as is incredibly noisy

Accommodations are FAB, food wonderful, service superb, location can't be beat.

Great hotel, excellent location, very safe, great service and very helpful staff

Having breakfast on the outside on the waterfront was amazing. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The staff was excellent. It seemed that they couldn't do enough for you. They picked up our party in their Mercedes sedan and Mercedes SUV(we had a lot of luggage) even though we arrived after 10PM local time. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We loved this beautiful hotel. It was decorated in a very classy urban way with great amenities. The hotel was freshly painted and the bed was so comfortable! The wait staff did a great job and the food was delicious. The location was perfect - we were right where the action was. We felt very safe and had a good time at the shops in and around the hotel.

WONDERFUL LOCATION VERY HELPFUL CONCIERGE, AND ALL THE OTHER STAFF. VERY FRIENDLY. PERFECT PLACE, I RATE IT EXCELLENT. BREAKFAST TO EXPENSIVE BUT A LOT OF OPTIONS CLOSE BY.

This hotel is nicely located at the waterfront. The room was nice, albeit a little small. The breakfast was great. Be sure to secure a room overlooking the harbour AND facing Table Mountain.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We didn't want to leave

Check in was quick and efficient. The location couldn't be better. You walk out and many restuarants and shops are right at your fingertips. We used there pool which is across the street, very quaint, and they had lunch facilities so you never had to leave the location and could charge to your room. The view from the meals was awesome. Would go back in a hearbeat.....

No downsides. It is not an inexpensive hotel, but the breakfast is very good, the room is clean & comfortable, it has an elevator, most of all the location is perfect, right on the waterfront, adjacent to a good shopping center, restaurants, bars, and within a 3 minute walk to the hop on-hop-off bus. I can't think of any downside. I think it is the place to stay in Cape Town

This hotel is the perfect place to stay in Cape Town. Breakfasts fantastic, cooked to order food plus great buffet with oysters, fruit, many yogurts, cheeses, fresh breads and more. If you need to leave early, they pack you a huge wonderful breakfast to go in a handled bag. Sit inside or outside under the shade or right on the water! Rooms were large and clean. Staff was excellent! Only negatives: pool is across the street and up the stairs and workout room is VERY small with only a few pieces of equipment. I will stay here on my next trip to Cape Town.

This hotel could not be in a better location. It is situated in the lively waterfront area next to restaurants, banks with ATM's, a craft market, and a shopping mall with many shops including a pharmacy and a Pick N Pay grocery store. It was only a 4 minute walk to the Robben Island ferry terminal. It is also only a minute walk to the Hop On Hop Off bus stop. Our room was on the top floor facing Table Mountain, and we heard no noise at all during our stay. The breakfast that is included is superb, with a wide variety of fruits, meats, breads, yogurts, and juices for the continental breakfast buffet and a menu where fancier breakfast items which are also included can be ordered. The patio dining area has a breathtaking view of the water and Table Mountain. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the bathroom is large with a shower area and separate tub, and a separate room for the toilet which is nice. Customer service at the hotel was stellar - the staff were all very attentive, polite, and friendly. My only wish is that the hotel had a business center so guests could print items from the internet such as maps, directions, or online ticket vouchers - necessities for many tourists.

Great value for the money. Very friendly staff and convienent location.
