No air conditioning, very hot room. Not responsive to fix it or timely moving us to another room. Maybe there is no air condition in the whole building. TV not working. Had to call to have the safety box working after they reprogrammed the unit. Very dated hotel on a busy location. Area is not attractive, not coming back.

Pleasant, but a bit outdated

Great location, I had everything that I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. It would be better if the Southern Sun did a major re-vamp to the rooms as the fittings are a bit outdated. But overall, a pleasant stay was had.

The property is about 20 mins from CPT. It's downtown so it's walkable although not recommended for women to walk alone at night. It was about 10 minutes from Waterfront. The hotel is excellent 5 stars. The free breakfast is very hearty -- hard to believe it's free! The staff was wonderful and I loved the ambiance!
