I am a student and choose Cape Town Lodge because of its fair rates. Hotel was very clean and room was much bigger than I expected. Continental breakfast was excellent.

Was slightly misleading as wifi was an additional cost (and more on the expensive side) and the pool is closed in the winter season. The rooms are moderately sized however, we had problems with our shower.

Good location alternative to Waterfront. Enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff.

Due to personal matters my stay in South Africa was cut very short. As a result I had to make several room changes-canceling one night but adding two-at the last minute. Staff were extremely accommodating. I stayed in three different rooms over the four nights. One was a complimentary upgrade and it was a very spacious efficiency. The next room was quite small but comfortable nonetheless, and the last room was a roomy mid-sized double. I spent time at Table Mountain National Park-a must see and the waterfront-excellent fish and chips. I recommend the hotel's restaurant if you like steak-reasonably priced.

The location is fantastic! Can't get better: close to CBD, close to Bree and Long Streets and the Waterkant. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The price was excellent! Definite recommendation....

Great Hotel. Friendly staff. Great food. Cool Bar. The best Breakfast Buffet. Location perfect.

Excellent hotel with great service. The general manager intentionally keeps the price down during the off-season to fill up the rooms. They try to make up their difference in add-ons like internet (which is ridiculously expensive) or taxis (which are about 40% more expensive than a regular taxi). However, for the price you pay it is awesome and the location is perfect.

The Hotel is good (not wow). Missing to have a dedicated staff for guest recreation. Breakfast was not up to the level of 4 stars. But in general, it is an ordinary hotel.

From the moment I entered this hotel, I was amazed at how efficient and polite the front desk staff was to me. They had my bags up in my room before I got there. They exchanged some of my large denomination Rand bills for some smaller denomination bills so that I could pay the cab drivers. The room was spacious and very clean; the bed was very comfortable, and the T.V. worked well. The small refrigerator was well stocked and the bathroom shower was very refreshing. The Steak Restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was first class and the breakfast on the 5th floor was equally as good. The location of the hotel coudn't have been more convenient for travel around the city.

The Hotel has a lot of rooms services, for check internet, business center, dinning room, pool, restaurant.... The breakfast is very good, and the service is lovely

The location is just 2 blocks away Long Street (bars & Restaurants). Very close to downtown (museums & attractions). 5 min drive from waterfront. The rooms are just fine, but the staff is the friendliest you can find. Breakfast is variated and delicious as well as complete
