I am the kind of person who would rather help someone with their small business than hurt them with an unfavorable review. I texted Matt and asked if he would call me so we could chat about his rental; I have now waited a week and he apparently is not interested in my thoughts. So, I guess I’ll post them to keep others from being disappointed. This is a cute Little Blue Cottage, but I arrived at around 6:00 PM and it was totally dark-no porch light was left on, and house was unlit…not very welcoming. Then I noticed the few steps and the walkway was covered in icy snow. Traversing in slick ice in the dark carrying luggage is not desirable, let alone safe. It was in the 20’s outside-and felt like it inside also. Turning on the heat for an upcoming guest is pretty normal. It was frigid and it took quite a while before I could take off my coat. I put my steak leftovers in the fridge for the next evening only to find out that it was barely cool; I was afraid to eat the rest of my 30 dinner. The two TV’s were left on-perhaps because there was no main controller to turn them off-therefore shinning in my face all night-as well as to adjust the extremely loud volume. There was only a small apps controller. Well…I am out of character space and can’t finish telling you all the fixable things that went wrong-but I can tell you the worst…the shower was disgusting…it needs to be replaced. Consequently I took sink baths during my stay.
