Wonderful Stay

We couldn't have had a better stay. The house was perfect for our family and young kids with so many nice touches. We will certainly be back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay here. Beautiful view of the water and very clean. There were also lots of fun games/toys for the kids to play with which was a nice surprise!

Delightful Delmarva Destination

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had never visited the Delmarva Peninsula before, so planned a visit during the Fourth of July week this year. We rented a house in Cape Charles for my daughters family, my husband and myself. It was a great house with wonderful views!!! The town is delightful, and we would definitely return. The rooftop deck was the perfect location to watch two large firework displays, so didn't have to venture out that evening to celebrate. Everyone in town and from vacation rental neighborhoods gets around on a golf cart, so we didn't need to take our cars out at all. We could walk to the neighborhood beach, but I wouldn't go back for this beach if you're used to large, white sand beaches. It is small, lots of sea weed with a mucky bottom. Just go to enjoy the town, restaurants, shops, great pool (not in the neighborhood, but we went most days for the kids) and friendly people.

Love this house and this town!

First time stay in Cape Charles and we had such a good week! So clean and safe. Perfect for our toddler grandson and also fun places to eat and drink for the adults. The Pelican house itself was awesome too! Such a clean and upscale home. The layout worked well for us with the grandparents on the first floor and our adult kids/grandkids on the 2nd. And let’s not forget the 3rd level - the rooftop office and lounge! The absolute perfect location to start and end your day. Coffee in the morning with sunshine and gentle breeze. And end the day there with fantastic sunsets. The house has so many extras including board games, books, beach towels, chairs & toys. Lots of fun entertainment at your fingertips. Last thing is great linens and really good beds. Plus the kitchen has great appliances and cookware. You won’t be disappointed!

Also, the pool is not close and you have to drive to it. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
