We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Canyon Lake VRBO. The views alone are worth booking — peaceful lake vistas by day and stunning sunsets in the evening, with deer regularly wandering through the property. It truly feels like a serene Hill Country retreat.One of our favorite parts was the easy access to nearby trails. We saw deer and foxes almost daily, and even spotted a feral pig/boar once, which made the experience feel adventurous and uniquely Texas.The house itself is thoughtfully designed with a fantastic layout that made it comfortable for relaxing and spreading out. Having two balconies was such a treat — perfect for morning coffee on one and evening unwinding on the other. The amenities were clearly chosen with care, and everything we needed was provided.The internet was strong and reliable, which allowed me to work from home without any issues — a huge bonus if you’re planning a longer stay or mixing business with leisure.Shawn was an excellent host — responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay, which made everything seamless from booking to checkout.We would absolutely stay here again. I’m so thankful it was pet friendly, because my dog loved it too!
