Good easy check in. A bit of a maze as the hotel is made of several older buildings joined together. Daily service was hit or miss. Good one day, below average on another. Pretty convenient to Interlaken OST (7 min walk). Breakfast is average (needs a little more variety)
I filtered on having a hot tub because my husband and I were skiing for the weekend. The two hot tubs were not working and nobody informed us of this and no apologies were given. The wellness center needs a large update and there was no gym.
This was our first trip to Interlaken during the winter. St George's was above and beyond all expectations. Get the junior suite when the balcony View just everything did you would expect hotel room to have and then more. The breakfast the service even got me hooked up with my first paragliding Adventure complete with the pilot picking me up at the hotel. Would not even think of staying anywhere else now and then rocking this is the place to be enjoy
The people at the desk, and the people at breakfast in the morning could not have been nicer. Sebastion and a lovely lady with sort hair whose name I can't pronounce were outstanding. Every morning they greeted us by name and helped us start our day. The Royal St Georges is a wonderful hotel.
Had a top floor corner room with three balconies and a lion's had clawfoot tub...wonderfully comfortable, and the room was outfitted elegantly. The staff was highly responsive to our every request, just doesn't get any better. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
As a family of 3 (2 adults and a 4 year old) we spent one night here (April 2014). The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff accommodating. It offers free wi-fi and free parking right behind the building. Just a very short walk from the center of town. Our only "complaint" was that breakfast wasn't included. It was 29 Francs/person for a continental breakfast which we passed on. We would certainly stay here again.
