This apartment appears to be managed by multiple brokers who do not communicate with one another, creating confusion and complete unreliability for guests.
We extended our stay by two extra paid days and reorganized our entire Cannes Film Festival schedule around this booking, only to have the apartment canceled because the owners — or another agency handling it — found someone willing to rent it longer. We were left stranded during the busiest and most expensive period in Cannes, forced to change trains, flights, and accommodation at major financial loss. The management company showed no accountability or concern. Their “solution” was to offer a tiny apartment far away, with poor reviews and worth roughly half the price and told us "we don't have to pay extra".
Guests should also know that refunds are not returned immediately to your Visa/card account after cancellation, which can create serious financial difficulty during a period like Cannes.
Despite the convenient location, the apartment itself was disappointing. The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable, noise continued until around 5:30 AM nightly, and there was daytime construction directly outside. There are also homeless people sleeping beside the entrance — harmless, but important to know beforehand. Bring mattress toppers, proper pillows, and even a laundry line, since the one provided was broken and rusted.
A deeply unprofessional and stressful experience during a festival where reliability is essential.
