Hôtel Résidence les Strélitzias

We have been coming to Les Strelitzias for 20 years. We enjoy the location and some of the recent renovations. There is a convenient restaurant and bar and two sides to pick from. There is a hotel side and apartment side. The residence is very quiet during the evening hours. This could be a 5 star but needs to address the following: - consistent level of friendly service. Some of the staff was truly exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable. Others however were a bit cold and lacked a customer service / focus. (Cleaning staff was all exceptional) - bar - almost every time we needed to ask for someone to come serve at the bar. We appreciate that a full time bartender is not possible but there seems to be a resource issue here. Also one of the bartenders were not friendly. - apartments - at least the unit we rented could use new furniture as it was cracking and needed to be changed. Overall however everything was very clean. The plants on the terrace were also all dead and could use replacing simply removal. We love coming to Les Strelitzias and look forward to the next trip.

The hotel was immaculate, the room spacious and the owners/managers accommodated our advance requests perfectly. Friendly staff and prompt service was nice to see and was reminiscent of quality hotels in a past era. Price was very fair for the room and service and we will definitely return. Well done!

We stayed here for 5 nights, check-in was quick and painless. The room we chose was a Superior with a garden view, the room was large with a hall-way leading to the main room which was also quite spacious, this led to the large corner balcony which as the booking suggested, overlooked the small park across the street. A nice quiet room overall. The room did get cleaned each day which is also good although on some occasions they didn't remove dirty cups for some reason, anyway that was a small thing. The one thing that was lacking for me was an iron/board as I had packed a couple of shirts for dinner so I had to use their "laundry" service which was not cheap and do not deliver back on a Sunday so had to use the express service (even more expensive). The reception staff were always very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is situated in a decent location I thought, it is about a 5 min walk to the beach (the beach gets quite busy at this time of year) and about a 25 min to Antibes (or you could get a bus or Uber). One thing to be mindful of is that this hotel is attached to some kind of retirement village type thing so don't be surprised if having a drink in the hotel or outside in the sitting area if it looks like a scene from the Golden Girls - I don't think that crowd would appreciate people bouncing in at 3am singing Little Mix songs. Overall a very pleasant stay.

This is a perfect place to stay at Juan les Pins. It's close to the centre, has got many services, but I was mostly impressed by how clean are the rooms and how the good smell lingers in the common spaces. It's also very silent and so it's perfectly fit for a good holiday.

Not a good start as our room wasn't ready, left home 3 am was really needing shower and a rest. Ended up getting a lovely room with balcony. Second time at hotel, nice friendly helpful staff. Only 5mins from lovely sandy beach, plenty small shops nearby and 10 mins to train station for a visit to Cannes or Monte carlo ect. Very peaceful location but within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Had a bit of mishap on our last day and staff came to rescue and saved us big Time! Thank you so much

First experience of being in an apartment here very good. Spacious, well kitted out (even a bottle of rose) and a dinky cleaning kit. Large terrace with awnings. 5 mins walk to Juan beaches. Restaurant on site + bar. Good parking. Laundry room on ground floor, €3 per wash and €4 for drying machine, though there are also facilities to dry stuff on terrace. There is road noise with some apartments and there's no pool. However in terms of comfort and location, the strelitzia offers a really good product.

We stayed here for three nights from 1st may. We already new what good value it was as stayed last year for a couple of nights. It is extremely clean, very friendly, helpful staff. Good food at a reasonable price for the area. Close to everything. Just a couple of streets back from beachfront. Busses to nice and Cannes two minutes away. Big rooms. I would recommend to anyone. Only small downside horrid pillows, but comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay just not for long enough. We WILL be back.

We had trouble finding the entrance to the hotel and had to call reception and use our broken English to get them to open the gate to the car park. The hotel is adjoined to what appears to be permanent holiday flats for the elderly. That didn't bother us. The hotel has a 1960's feel that's quite retro. Our room was huge and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the gardens. It was clean and tidy. English was not spoken much but the reception team tried hard to make us feel welcome. Great value hotel.

We used this hotel as a one-night stopover whilst travelling up the Côte d'Azur. It was easy to find, located behind a small park. Parking in the hotel's secure car park is €7 per night, or the limited on-street parking around the hotel is free. This hotel is also a residence so feels well appointed and busy. Access to rooms is via keypad doors, although we found ours, block B, did not fully lock most of the time so we were able to reach our room without unlocking the outer door to the block. Once inside, we found our room was spacious and tidy, if not the best equipped or most clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided however, as was a very effective blackout blind on the window. The bed was large and comfortable. Our room had a separate toilet and bathroom, with a strong and spacious shower. We felt the electronic touch-pad light switches were an annoyance as the fiddly switches were not intuitively located relevant to the lamps they controlled. We did not eat at the on-site restaurant during our stay, instead making the short walk to the seafront and its many dining offerings. There is a mini-market type shop nearby also. At the tme of writing, city tax is €1.50 per person per night.

I booked two times for two consecutive weeks in this hotel, near the center of Juan Le Pin and 500m far from the sea. Great position, rooms in general large and bed very confortable. The rooms are clean, the restaurant offer breakfast and inner with a good price. Perfect for vacation but also for business trip (20m far from sophia antipolis, traffic jam apart). Please trust me, is the right place for spending not so much but at the same time staying in a beautiful place.
