Hotel Albert 1er is a charming quiet hotel removed from but very close to the main beach activity as well as the historic area of Cannes (le Suquet) - the perfect combination of atmosphere and convenience. But what we loved most was our hostess, who made us feel right at home and also made available / served up an outstanding buffet breakfast. We ate on a beautiful, lush green terrace - perfect way to start our day. Also, the room decor was simple but lovely as well as clean and comfortable. Parking next to the hotel. Highly recommend Hotel Albert 1er.

It is an amazing and very cute hotel with a very friendly and kind host! We had a room for 3 people and it was the best for our stay - clean and cozy room, spacious bathroom. Would definitely recommend the place and stay here again!

In a quiet, clean and safe neighborhood. The woman at the front desk is very helpful and welcoming, but front desk closes at 7pm. Air conditioning on the top floor was minimal. Rooms are small and basic, but comfortable. Sea view room that we had was a view of rooftops and a tiny sliver of the sea in the distance. No elevator. Decent hotel but priced high for what it is.

Quite a nice small hotel but needs updating especially bathrooms and no air in all areas. We had issues with shower, lighting and reported this but nothing was done to ammend this during our 4 day stay. There is only someone available on the reception desk who was helpful and friendly but only for limited hours which is not good especially when there are issues. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss with quality and service. Hotel is up on a height so quite a lot of uphill walking.

Love this little gem

this is a really nice little hotel that we would stay at again and again. the manager Marie is fantastic and so attentive to making our stay memorable. We met the new owner who invited us to return next year and see how much better the hotel will be then. Hope we can make that happen!

Clean and lovely hotel! Friendly staff and clean rooms. Comfortable bed. WiFi was good. The shower did not have a door and was open to the bathroom so water would go everywhere, slight annoyance. Steep walk to/from the train station and town, but I enjoyed it!

Great experience for 2 nights - go for it!

I am used to the best five stars hotels of the world. For various reasons I opted randomly for this little hotel in Cannes for a two night - stay in Canne with my 2 sons and my husband. It was just lovely! Dominique, the manager (or owner) made our stay a memorable one. Discrete and efficient. Attentive and an excellent advisor. Great knowledge of the places to go for a walk, or for dining. Not sure we will go back to a hotel in Cannes since we are now a property owner in the area since yesterday. But for sure we will recommend the place to jet setters wanting to experience something different/common. Do not forget though to ask the towels to be changed if you want to.

The hotel staff were lovely. I felt at home, and was very comfortable in my room. I loved the style of decor. I loved the enormous hand basin, and the toiletries. The hotel car parking is modest, but in Cannes one is very lucky to get any parking! Staff were friendly and helpful. My stay was very happy.

Cannes-not do better than this hotel!

Great boutique hotel with very clean, nicely decorated rooms and communal areas. Evelyn and the other staff are genuinely warm-hearted people - very welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure their guests have a great stay; for example providing parasols if you are going to the beach. 'Modern' essentials such as air conditioning, internet and parking are absolutely fine. The hotel is situated about a ten minute walk to the centre of Cannes, which means it's in a quiet area, but because it is up a hill, may not be ideal for those with mobility issues. Would recommend to stay here and would return if we were going back to Cannes.

Nice and very accommodating hotel for vocation

Very accommodating and friendly owners. Convinient and cosy garden to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. It possible to seat and eat in the garden with your own foods and drinks. Hotel stands approximately 500 meters from sea, beaches and restaurants. Way from sea to the hotel going up and coast you some calories. There are also forest park and islands to wandering. Overall the great place. I would recommend.
