We stayed in a family suite. Upstairs has a king size bed and large ensuite. Downstairs has two beds. A massive bathroom with a wonderful bath and absolutely huge shower. There’s a really nice large window seat in the room. They supply a good quality coffee maker too. There is an extra wide verandah with rocking chairs. Our room looked onto the pool area but we could see the lagoon and beach. The breakfast is pretty awesome too. Lots of variety, the most amazing fruits. We’ve stayed at so many hotels in Bali and Lombok and the breakfast here is probably one of the best. Breakfast is served in a separate glasshouse (kind of) next to the pool area - with inside and outside seating. We tried the restaurant a few times and the meals were fresh and not outrageously priced. The spa was pretty good too. My husband surfs and he had a great time as the surf wasn’t too crowded. We always hire a car and self drive- so you probably would need to phone for a bluebird taxi ( or download the app and order one). In the surrounding areas within 5 minutes drive there are so many great restaurants and cafes. Down near Canggu club ( about 5 minute drive) there’s a supermarket that carries a larger variety of food and drinks than circle k or indomarket. The staff are very attentive, the suites are extremely clean and well serviced. Definitely recommend.

Checked in on Friday 17th May with my wife and 20 month old son, as well as my parents. We took a Family Duplex and my parents went for the Pool Access Room. Our room was as described, but unfortunately after a long day we needed to put our son down to sleep for a nap soon after arriving but the temperature in the room was close to 29 degrees, and clearly the air con wasn't working properly. We had to get the maintenance crew to take a look at it, as it was like a sauna inside. We love the heat, that's why we go to Bali, but inside the room, not so much. It was sorted within the hour and thankfully we didn't need to move rooms, but had to vacate immediately after checking in, which was super inconvenient, especially with an overtired toddler. After pre-arranging a toddler / baby gate with the hotel, what was there was a piece of wood, screwed four times in to the staircase, no hinges, no way of opening it, literally just a wooden gate screwed in at each of it four corners. If you want it "opened,", by hand, you'll be unscrewing it each time you feel like going up and down your stairs.... We just took it off, and thankfully our soon listened all week, and knew not to try the stairs! My parents pool access room was fantastic, and highly recommended for a couple. Breakfast at the hotel was one of, if not the best we'd had in Asia. With so many places rather reticent to offer a'la carte in conjunction with the buffet, I'd say The Haven delivered better than anywhere we'd stayed previously, including accommodation close to double the price. Very impressed, and when after a week, you still very much look forward to going to breakfast, that's a great sign. The coffees were also very much on point, and testament to how far Bali has come serving up a great coffee! Biggest let down, would have to be the Spa. After staying in Ubud as a couple last October and having spa treatments inside a cave built into the side of hill, it seemed the bar was rather high for in house spa's in Bali these days, but The Haven's Spa is a massive letdown. It's literally just a room, with absolutely no serene outlook no experience. Don't get me wrong, the treatments were extremely moderately priced for an in house Spa, but one was enough in there. Shame. Easy stroll in the main street of Berewa with a bunch of great dining options, Two Fingers, Nude and The Greenhouse our clear favourites. And Panama Kitchen & Pool if you walk the other way from the hotel towards Finns. If being finite with numbers, I'd give it a 4.2 from 5, which means I'd return, but likely I'd check out was else was around.

The staff was so great and polite. The hotel looked very new and clean. The food was amazing. The total atmosphere is lovely. We got a big room with sea view. It had a pretty big garden but you had to stand to see the sea. Couldn’t complain about this though as we would’t really spend time in the room anyway.

The hotel is very close to the ocean and Canggu is more relaxed and discerning than Kutta. The rooms are beautifully laid out and comfortable. Breakfast is good, but my dinner orders were comparatively average. The staff are exceptionally friendly. There was a beach music festival during my stay, which broke the quiet well into the night. That was the luck of the dates. My only complaint is that the hotel should have asked me at check in if I wished to change rooms to a quieter part of the building. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Rooms are so beautiful and luxurious. The bathroom is fantastic! Also very spacious rooms and balcony. The food is tasty. Staff is very kind and inform the guests excellent. The location is good and so close to cozy beach bars and Finns beach bar. Swimming pool is good!

Very friendly staff, was given a free upgrade upon arrival. The restaurant was excellent. Staff was very helpful in arranging/renting a scooter. Very good massage as well. My room was enormous and very nicely decorated. The only small complaint i have is that the room I was in could us a bit of a refresher, it was starting to feel a bit tired and in need of a paint job. Would give is 4.5 stars if i could...

We stayed at the Haven for 3 nights. From our arrival at the hotel we were in awe of the hotel and all the staff. The complimentary airport pick up with an air con chilled car and very friendly hotel staff was amazing! He provided us with cold water which was much needed after our 17 hour flight into a hot climate. The staff at reception welcomed us with big smiles and check in was very easy with a cold towel and welcome drink which was so tasty and refreshing. After checking in we was escorted to our room by Darik and shown around our beautiful pool access suite. It was out of this world. Arik was our housekeeper and he decorated our room beautifully with rose petals and a bottle of wine. The cleanliness of the hotel, restaurant and the rooms was amazing. The room had an ironing board and an iron. It also provided a hairdryer. The pool was very clean and temperature perfect. The hotel provide you with towels to use during your stay at the pool which was a lovely touch. Our first night we had a romantic candlelight dinner which was set up on the decking facing the ocean. It was decorated so beautifully with candles all over the floor and rose petals in shapes of hearts and flowers. The food was out of this world and our server for the night was so kind and friendly providing us with information of all the dishes we were served and the wine provided. She took lots of photos of us to help us capture this moment forever. The bouquet flowers at the end of the meal were beautiful. We also received a lovely Balinese massage in the romantic package which was very nice and carried out in the spa rooms downstairs. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Whatever you needed they would provide it. The cocktails at the bar were amazing and all the food we had we very much loved. The minibar in the room included daily restocked big bottle water, 2 small bottles of water, coke & sprite. They also stocked the room with Pringles and an energy bar with the teas and coffee machine. There was some acoustic entertainment at the hotel on the Wednesday along with the satay evening which you were able to request songs for them to sing which was a lovely idea. Each evening the staff would ring your doorbell and ask if you required anymore towels or bedding. On departure of our stay at The haven suites we were moving to Ubud, instead of the airport transfer back to the airport they offered to provide us with the transfer to our next hotel for a small charge. This was very kind of them and really helped us continue our honeymoon with a smile. We would return to The Haven Suites without a second thought. Thank you so much for making the start of our honeymoon the best it could possibly be.

we spent 3days at HAVEN. their hospitality is excelent for everythng. and also, while we spent at hotel, there is al lot of secutrities.when we met them, they always said hello and put them hands to left chest.that'll be meant honest and loyalty.

A luxury hotel at a budget hotel price! How often do you come across something like that? Especially when its located just next to a beach in a hot-spot in Bali! The haven has some of the largest and most well equipped rooms you are likely to find, even in 5 star hotels in bali. The huge pool and the multi cuisine restaurant adjoining are a real treat. However, its the outside terrace and its sunset view over The Berawa beach, which is the real selling point for this excellent hotel. The staff are friendly and I was amazed that they all called me by my name, even though it was almost a year since I was back. The Haven is just off the beach, they have a small reclining area on a grassy patch which leads to a small pontoon over a narrow stream and on to the magnificent berawa beach, just north of Seminyak beach. You can stroll on the beach to either finns or "old man beach club" in 15 minutes. alternatively you can walk to many of Berawa's hip and funky restaurants, they are just 5-10 minutes away. Simply the best place to stay in Canggu and it won't break the bank. Request an ocean view room if you can

Happy to say that the Haven Suites ticked all the right boxes for this family of five(two teenagers and one eight year old). We wanted a quiet relaxing hotel that provided a good pool, waking distance to surf breaks, restaurant and bar on site, a family room that accommodated the five of us, walking distance to bars and restaurants (along the beach) and a hotel that still had that Bali feel to it. We will definitely be back again!!
