Nice relaxing place

We stayed here for three nights and it was very lovely. The staff was very friendly and the room was also clean. The location is also good it is about a 15 minute walk to the beach. We had our own Villa with no pool and there was also a bathtub outside the room. Would recommend this place to someone who wants a nice relaxing holiday

Lovely staff, but isolated and far from coast.

Lovely manager and workers, very nice grounds and beautiful room. The only problem was that we booked the single room villa which was very nice but had no facilities to make food or even a cup of tea and coffee. That was a problem because they had no food available at the villa and there were only food outlets a scooter ride away. You could organise food through the staff but they needed lots of lead time which is not so good for the travellers that prefer to wing it. The bigger villas came with a kitchen so they are the better option. Another thing to note is that they are not as close to the beach as hotels.com suggest on the map. A good 10min walk to prererenan beach. Another thing to more is that the address on hotels.com is wrong which caused a problem finding the villas. Can't say enough how lovely the staff and grounds were, I just think they need to improve their food options a little.

Loved the private pool

We toured Bali for the month of February 2015 and stayed at Enigma in Canggu for 3 days. Villa is small with only three units. We were fortunate to stay here without any other guests, so had the pool provided for the double rooms to ourselves. Lena was extra special and assisted us in every way. You will want transportation here as Echo Beach is a hike on a narrow road through the rice paddys. Lena can get you bicycles to rent. Recommended. You will meet well bred horses at a stable nearby and local cattle. Roosters will be your wake up call. Just down the road behind the villa is an active temple where we heard ceremonies our first night. Echo Beach (Motto: Hard to get to and hard to forget)has several restaurants where you will eat at picnic tables watching the surfers and the sunset. Rent a beach lounge/umbrella and hang out for the day. One day we hired a driver to take us to Balian Beach (another surfer hang out) Black Sand Beach not really attractive because tide brings in plastic trash residue from river emptying into ocean , but saving grace is hotel there allows you to use pool facilities if you order lunch and a BingTang (beer). Visited Pura Tanah Lot temple on the way back to Enigma. Pretty, but warning translation = lots of tourists!

Nice villa with an excellent staff

We stayed at Christmas at Enigma Villas and really enjoyed our stay! Clean, quiet and comfortable villa in a nice, non-touristic area of Bali. Loved the banana pancake breakfast. Staff was really friendly and helpful! We would definitively come back and stay in one of the villas with the pool.

Great place to stay.Was a bit out of town but all good .You got to see Bali the real way and taxi fairs were cheap to main towns .I would also go with rooms that have own pool a must for us kiwis lol temp get hot so swim when you want ,great clean water .The aircon was good to in the bedroom .Room was always clean and fresh The staff were excellent especially Lina she went out of way to please anytime any day .breakfast really nice and dinner good to. Over all excellent stay .Many Thanks Lina and Lin.

good experience

this is very nice experience for us, the villa is not big but comfortable, nice, and quiet. The area near the beach, every night went there for fresh dinner with beautiful sea, Lina is very nice and cute manager who helped a lot for our holidays.Thanks Lina, hope to see you next time:)
