The staff were extremely helpful and so friendly. The ladies cooking breakfast were so kind. We couldn’t work out the washing machine and they were so fast to come and help. They hung up our washing while we were doing the all-day Gallipoli tour. Fantastic service all round for an older hotel.

Well located apartment hotel. Very helpful staff but don't really cater to travelers seeking service and comforts we mostly consider normal. Rarely available to connect to wifi, reception mostly unattended, breakfast catering for locals with a very basic meal.

Enjoyed the stay.......despite....

We liked our two stays here either side of a trip to Gokceada. We are tempted to say despite everything.....but that would be a bit harsh. Check in was a bit of a joke both times. Neither time did they seem aware of our booking but they showed us a room anyway. Both times we had to move as the room was either different from that booked or things not working. This was done with good humour but no English was spoken though a lady( who we later met) in a sister hotel was phoned and had good English and helped. The staff who run the roof top breakfast cafe are, however, excellent and provided a good quality and filling breakfast and helped as they could with no English. The rooms are spacious and quite comfortable though in need of some maintenance. The location is superb in this apealling town. For future guests benefit, free parking is available at the sister hotel the Grand Ece which is 150 metres away ( and where the City Residence is wrongly pinned on google maps). Here also is the delightful English speaking receptionist who will do what she can to assist.

Die Lage des Hotels was super unmittelbar an dem Aynali carsi. Die Größe der Zimmer sind sehr gut für eine Familie mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern. Reichlich Platz in der Küche ist gegeben. Das Bad ist nicht dreckig aber man könnte es mal überarbeiten, Die Möbel bzw die Einrichtung könnte sich zeitgemäßer sein. Im Großen und Ganzen würde ich das Hotel weiter empfehlen, da es sehr gut gelegen ist.
